Dot I will have a go at the cremains in glass. Only need about a teaspoon of each animals ashes and labeled with their name and species eg flopsy, grey persian cat, put each lot in separate ziplock plastic bags. I understand the process and am up for the challenge mate. Stay healthy my dear xxxx
Had a day of frustrations. I decided that it's time to make the personalised calendar, that I do annually at this time of year when the price is almost realistic. Anyways, I tried to do this with my usual vistaprint account. Never had any probs with them in the past, software was so easy to manage. Not this year. They have totally changed the way they do calendars and it was a nightmare. So I started on another site, which was looking easier, until I could actually enlarge the calendar page. Lo and behold their week started on a Monday and could not be changed....too much for me anyway. So I finally found photobook Aus and it worked almost easily. After the third try, I was ready to shove the project in the too hard basket. It did finally work and now one calendar has been sent off to print and hopefully with no errors. I normally have a calendar with all the gem festivals listed, that aint happening. Nobody is game to start thinking too seriously about the next gem festivals. Uncertain bloody world, that's for sure.

OK you are on Deborah, I shall pack them up next week.
I was going to get them made into diamonds but the price over here is too much. Been a very quiet day here, I went to have my blood test and they had closed early so tomorrow will have to do. We were going to the block over the weekend but going to be too hot to do much work out side. Oh well time for bed e buys. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, as I only need a tiny bit of ash from each animal, perhaps you could also try a "resinator" and have some resin ones made too. As mine would be experimental, the only cost to you is postage to get them to me. So nothing lost if you want to try both suggestions. I was thinking of making then into a sun catcher, with separate pieces for each animal and then we could add others to the collection as needed. Happy weekend xxxx
We had another weird weather day today. Stormy, sunny, short spitty rain, then deluges. I just did domesticated stuff inside.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good night to all have a great week ahead.
Helen relax and enjoy yourself, have fun.
Dot great to catch up again and sorry about the mix up I left the zero out. Bad trip home had severe spasms up the back and every bump made it worse.
Have taken max pain relief so see how the morning is. Cheers Robert

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
It must be summer down south then, Dot? It seems to be starting to feel that way here too. Finally a clear-ish sunny day. xxxx
David, climate change maybe, el ninyo maybe, Earth has rotated so much that we are now in the tropics maybe. Just weird weather, anyways.
This is how the bowl that has caused me grief started out as a flat piece ready to be made into a bowl. My pic of the bowl back then, is not very clear. The bowl once someone dropped it after many firings to get it back together and into a decent-ish bowl shape Obviously I have nothing very important to be doing and this bowl has had me beat for a long time (since November ). The other bowl that I am having disagreements with, came out of the kiln today and I am still not impressed. It will have at least another 2 days in the kiln before it can be offered for sale anywhere. I am more happy with the red one now that it has been such a PITA. It looks much more organic in shape and design, which is the way I like things to be.
time for some ugly sleep,
