Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Lazy day yesterday didn't get up to much, wired up a 250w solar panel with MC4's its the one I had on the roof rack of the Jeep...was wired for Anderson plug.

Helen only two wallaby's yesterday...BUT I forgot on Thursday morning I seen 3 adult Peahens with five young chicks...That's a first for me. two quick for a pic... bummer.

Off to Apple tree creek this morning, farmers market...I want to buy a cant hook (google it) there is normally a bloke there that sells that sort of old hand tools. I might get lucky.
Bernie.
Morning Dave :D
Wow, the stalls have definitely changed their "stock in trade" a lot since I last visited one  By the way, a can't hook is just a straight piece of rod ..... they will try to sell anything at these markets and use a fancy name to get the "trend setters" to buy something they'd normally throw out ;)

supersparky wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 6:02 am Good morning everyone. Happy anniversary T1 and Margaret. Hope you enjoyed dinner. Spent most of the day pruning stuff in the yard. Saw a lot of fish in the canal on the morning walk. All the parks were water logged from the rain. The man says more coming this weekend. Not much more to report, have a great weekend everybody. Safe travels all those on the roads.
Morning Bernie.
We ended up cooking Spaghetti Balinese T1 recipe ... but forgot the black olives, we drank the red wine so the last of the "Stoned Crow" port went in as a substitute, and after 1/2 bottle of very good red wine I couldn't read the labels properly on some of the spices and other throw ins .... so certainly not one I could duplicate, but it turned out ok .... but after half a bottle or red each the bench mark might have been set a tad low .... we will see if it improved over night in the fridge because I made enough to feed us for 3 days

Watching the news on the ABC this morning, best get the gear in the Winnie and head for the border David and Terrie so you can avoid yet another lock down.
We can keep a spot available for you in the workshop yard .... and possibly find something for you to do to keep you from getting bored :D Or you could start the solar and battery upgrade on the Winnie to have it ready for Taggerty .....

No Terry I didn't buy one...old mate was over priced 😀plus was hand made.
All the ones I have seen are plate steel not rod, with timber handleI had one on the farm, didn't think I would need it at the time....we used them when I worked for the electricity board for turning pole to correct position before filing hole and ramming also good for getting logs of the ground so chainsaw didn't hit the dirt.
And that's what I want it for.

"tanks" here---
Up and about and keeping an eye on everybody this great morning.Where are you Grey Nomad, and you Newcastle George ?
I saw that our George posted a photo on the AMH site, taken from his Cesnna airoplane years and years ago flying around and about in WA.
That was around 40 years ago George, and you were much younger then. Do you wish that you could do all of those things again.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
