Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Will they let you out of Qld ... or more to the point, will the other states allow you in?

Back here early this morning in an attempt to get these two jobs out by Monday so I have a clear run for the eye jabs and the hospital trip. Yet another job over Easter and the following week, a house battery install in Gawler, so need to get the Hino ready so we can camp out there rather than travel each way ... well that's the plan anyway

Dunno what happened this morning, another one gone to the ether. Probably, might possibly be operator error.
No matter, if we get can get out of Queensland the rest is easy. Apart from floods and mice plagues and who knows what. Anyway, enjoy your day everyone.
Cheers

I get to be the first posted for today ... yeah for me  Both the jobs went pear shaped last night at around 6pm and in frustration I figured it was better to walk away .... Didn't help really, no hope of sleeping so back here at 2am this morning to try to sort at least one of the jobs.
The original solar wiring from the roof to the battery compartment in the Paradise motorhome in the workshop now appears to have an intermittent broken circuit in at least one of the cable runs, so now I have to replace all of it
The brand new Tiffin motorhome has decided to have a door handle malfunction, the lock can be heard doing its thingm but the handle itself doesn't appear to be connected to the door latch. Naturally, this is the only entry point into something that locks up like bank vault ..... still trying to figure out the next move on that one ..... besides ringing Tiffin in Qld and asking if they have any ideas
I've only got today and till lunch tomorrow to sort these problems out, needles in the eyes Tuesday afternoon and hospital first thing Thursday ..... all this and the boss doesn't even pay me .....

Good score, the local recycling bloke charges $20 each for them with an unknown previous use so not suitable for watering the garden just in case it was a herbicide or some form of poison because the water runs back into the river.

Ya neighbour is gunna find it a struggle for a while, not just the one hr time difference each yr but the sudden catapult into the 21st century
We were lucky, we did it the other way around, came from a state in the 21st to what ever time frame this state runs on ..... You'd think when NSW and Victoria did something like selling off a state govt asset and the whole thing stuffing up that the other states would see it wasn't a clever move ..... sadly that isn't how the state govt works here

Good morning everyone. Bit of a surprise seeing T1 online so early. Bad luck with the ankle Bernie, you better rest up for a few days.
T1, can you get into the Tiffin through the roof hatch?
Bob, I hope the doc has the answer you need.
We are heading off south today. Dunno how far we will get, but have the peppermint oil and other stuff to keep the mice away, I was sorta hoping the rains had washed those plagues away. Safe travels everybody, have a nice day.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
David, spray the engine bay with WD - 40 to keep the mice out of the wires and other things that they like to chew on.
My auto bloke in Perth uses it on my RollsRoyces and Jaguar and he also sprays a bit in the boot under the carpets.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Now the sun is up, I've had a hunt around the Tiffin and found two windows that I'd shut but hadn't locked. The drivers window would need me to find a kid to feed through it, but fortunately one on the slide out windows wasn't locked either and that should give me enough room to get my fat gut through the opening .... think I'll wait till Margaret and Brian are here so they can work the key outside .... just in case I'm locked in
