Terminological exactitude

Post by Greynomad »

Q: Why don’t seagulls fly over Port Philip Bay?

A: Cos then we’d have to call them bagels.

Geddit? Bay Gulls. 🤣🤣🤣

Cause Port Philip Bay is just a bay, not the sea ........ Yeah, I struggled to get a Sheldon laugh the first time I heard/read it but on par for a Ray funny ;)

So ,does that mean a seagull that flies over the Gulf of Carpentaria should be called a Gulfgull? :D :D :o

It's a rubbish tip bird ..... the ones with the long beak are garbage bin birds, just so you can identify one from the other ..... The rubbish tip birds that stand on one leg and ask for chips are "Beggar Birds" according to my daughter when she was young
