Yes bit confusing to say the least. Peter Q did find a screed that mentioned a pressure relief valve not supplied but it did mention the by-pass valve incorporated. Is this making sense.

It's one of those deciphering what it really means, as Peter said, the N/S could be either Not Shown or Not Supplied.

[1]No nothing is included in the box at all, only the bare pump. Unless its incorporated in the body but don't think so from reading. I did buy an in line pressure limiter, and a one way valve and still need to buy the filter. Going to be a while before I hook it up so will update later.

Bit surprised some of the dealers had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned model numbers. Most said, "this what you are looking for, we fit dozens of them", yeah right. Fair bit of difference in pricing between those on "special" and the later models.

Hi Kelvin
I am not surprised that there was no pressure switch in the BOX
That isthe way i read it ;"not supplied" ;) :)
The problem is ,without a pressure switch it will simply bypass excess flow [water volume ]& if running from a battery WASTING valuable battery energy. :(
The inline pressure limiter will not help that.

Getting highly confused here, what EXACTLY does this "pressure switch" do. Thought the relief valve (me supplied) would do this. Are you saying the the pressure switch is like an electrical switch cutting power supply to the pump similar to an air pressure switch.

Thanks for the input, appreciated.

Yep!
Do you mind taking a photo of the pump if you've still got it handy?
Take one from directly from the oposite end to the motor. The pump end.

If it's this one exactly ........ it says it has "cutout pressure" etc etc

Hi Dirk
Yes,it is an elecrical switch[ pressure operated]
Quite commonly used with electrically driven pumps.

Hi Dirk
I have found the Answer
It does have an integral pressure switch :)
See link

Did it come with any instructions indicating location of adjustments ??

OK, no need for your photo no Dirk!
All you need now is one of those 'cheap' filters that they use on dripper lines. Any Garden supplies shop will help.
Bunnings, Mitre10, etc etc.
You'll only need the 1/2" (13mm) one. Put it in the suction side.
I put mine under my bus so I can clean it easily without fuss. Small poly tap on both sides of it.
