Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all rather cool here still sore and swollen from having one of my mollers out on Tuesday, worse bloo dy tooth pull I have ever had.

Had the transmission in the ute serviced yesterday and a heavy duty cooler installed as well as the scan gauge programmed. Can now keep an eye on the transmission oil temperature and hopefully avoid the dreaded limp mode.

Daughter cancelled her trip to north Queensland yesterday was not worth the risk of getting caught with closed borders.

Have a great day folks Robert

Late good morning from me. We parked up in Terries folks back yard in Mulwala yesty arvo. Had a reasonable sleep last night for a change. Been for a walk and a tour around, nothing much has changed since here last time.
Nothing much else to report yet.
Safe travels, have a top day.
Cheers
David

I'll check out the radios at Autobarn and if they can be linked via the computer It might be the way to go.

PeterH
Be aware, Autobarn have a policy their "technician" has to install the stereo to get the warranty. We had one "installed" in the kombi when we were back in Lake Illawarra, we didn't even make it home before it fell out of the dash. The wiring was so sub standard I went back to complain and asked about their policy regarding the questionable work the "technician" carried out causing a fire and burning a very expensive to replace '74 Kombi ....... The look was one of being gob smacked that anyone actually expected the $80 install charge to be any sort of quality work, the "technician" said very much the same thing when I tackled him about it actually falling out of the dash and the twisted together wires with a bit of electrical tape to cover it pulling apart and leaving the exposed power wire floating in the back of the dash ......

Find a quality audio specialist and ask the question regarding a replacement unit that will still work with the original equipment.
You might find it cheaper to leave the original in there and putting a remote head unit replacement stereo system some where in a cupboard .....

Took the Kombi down to Brian's boat yesterday arvo so he could down load some of the "surplus to requirement" items from the houseboat to be stored at Brian's other storage facility, his container at the workshop .....
Back to the boat this morning, got the Honda outboard fuel primed and running, Kombi back to the workshop .... and yes, ran out of LPG on the way up the hill .... lucky its dual fuel eh

So, now its coffee, empty the kombi and put the mattress, Waeco, solar panels and curtains in, fuel it up and it should be ready to go ...... then the Hino ......
With a bit of luck, we have till lunch time tomorrow before Brian heads off up the river .....

Hoping to get the Hino home tonight so Puttin Tat can try out sleeping in there with me and see how he handles it .... otherwise it's the auto feeder and 3 days or so on his own .....

Getting a tad warm here at the moment ... must be because I've decommissioned the air conditioner in the Hino
