Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning All. 24* and partly cloudy forecast, beautiful. I spent most of yesterday on the lower level roof of the house while pressure cleaning the walls and eves of the upper level and while doing so noticed that the lower level gutters need some leaf removal but due to the pressure cleaning I will have to wait until they dry out before removing them with the blower/vac.

Good morning- it is definatly happening as road worthy and gas certifcate man coming Tuesday. Just about got van empty and hoping that buyer will come down to collect fingers crossed, as we do not want to face that Bruce highway. I know, go inland but much further and that is the way we usually travel. Next will be new front brakes on FLO then road worthy for her. Probably get her detailed as well as a detailer 3 houses from us.
Our daughter had to self quarantine in their home with 2 positive teenage daughters. All triple vaxed and the 19 year old still very tired. It hits and misses where it decides. Non vaxed boyfriend of 19 year old not a sign of covid. Go figure!
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

It must have been a hard decision the give up the vanning life.
I'm almost at that same stage of selling up the whole lot and resorting to cabin stays and organised tours.
The beauty of organised tours or hotel stays is you don't have to do any housework. like making beds etc, no cooking etc etc. :)
But part of my latest thinking is the new vehicle must be able to tow at the min 2 ton, and If I want to go vanning I can always hire one.
At the moment it's just a thought bubble but the recent health scare,( Lobectomy,) apart from the longer than expected recovery issues, does make one think that at 80 one is not as fit/active as at 40.

When the borders are open again instead of driving across to tour we'd be hiring a good car and staying at hotels/cabins etc.

Ron mate!
We tried that after the Bedford bus but although it sound good you soon learn a bit different.
Dirty rooms, dirty sheets & pillows, bed bugs, grumpy owners etc soon make you reconsider.
I must stress that not all are like that but .......... you do get caught.
All the daily unpacking & packing soon wears thin too. You can't beat your own Palace on wheels, whatever the flavour!
