Re: On the banks of the Murray
Houston, we have a problem. It appears, some how Jake our 3 legged cat, has got his middle 2 claws inbedded in the front pads of his remaining front paw, and they are locked in. The earliest vet appointment we can get is 2:45pm tomorrow, so our departure is some what delayed. If the vet can't do a quick fix so he can continue on the holiday with us.... we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
He is such a lay back cat, we have no real idea how long they may have been like it, maybe a week or more, he has had difficultly jumping down off the bed and lounge and walking with difficulty, we have just put it down to him getting old, but this may have been the problem all along.
Hopefuly the vet has a magic fix and we can be on our way.

Re: On the banks of the Murray
It is so sad when oldies do not know what day of the week it is. We were having dinner yesterday evening when noticed this van through the window- a Manhatten! It was the GGs who must have thought that yesterday was Tuesday because that was when they said they were arriving here
Anyway we ended up eatiing cold fish etc while they were welcomed with open arms- literally. Lesley & Erich had their dinner still in oven so we eventually ate while The GGs set up then we had a late happy hour while they ate. We have been left here this mornign by Erich & Lesley who have moved on to Gentle Annie- to do washing but would not take my sheets & towels with here as well. Not a noice friend.

Well, cats repaired, bathed after emptying his bladder in the cat cage at the vets, so we will resume our plans, just a day late. See you when I'm looking at you

Re: On the banks of the Murray
Way back when we had Engel problems someone suggested we should speak to, I think, Bob & Bev? Are the Bob & Bev beside you Lesley the same couple?

Yes, I think so. Bob repairs 12v fridges and resells them. Wish we had known before we bought our Engel.
