Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Re: Good morning daily
Put on the gumboots and wadded out to the point put the battery, solar regulator and inverter up on milk crates on the plastic pallet and tied it all on with a ratchet strap. Put the solar panels on the double blue drums and in the reeds so floating away is unlikely ... unless the river rises more than 300 mm from where it is now. I'll have to put the waders on them and drag it all back to the road, there will be no river bank by that stage
Seems it's the pump that is giving the trouble, plugged a battery charger into the inverter and it still powers that, so it must be the pump. No, I didn't try from unity + with the battery charger powered by the inverter, it was the only thing I had on hand as a 240v test load
If the river comes up more, the pump in the milk crate should float enough to drag it back to the point so I can see what's wrong, too deep out there in places for even the waders now .... I could use a boat I guess .....

Re: Good morning daily
A tad late for “Good Morning”, but never no mind…
Outside sensor said we hit a maximum of 29.4* today.
Last time we saw that sort of number was 1873 or so.
Well, maybe I exaggerate, but it seems it’s been a long time!
Have not needed any heating over the previous two nights, either.
Maybe the world is emerging from a ‘winter of discontent’…

Re: Good morning daily
TODAYS JOKE---
The seven dwarfs go to the Vatican , and because they are the seven dwarfs, they are immediately ushered in to see the Pope.
Grumpy leads the pack.
'Grumpy, my son,' says the Pope, 'What can I do for you?'
Grumpy asks, 'Excuse me your Excellency, but are there any dwarf nuns in Rome ?'
The Pope wrinkles his brow at the odd question, thinks for a moment and answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Rome .'
In the background, a few of the dwarfs start giggling.
Grumpy turns around and glares, silencing them.
Grumpy turns back, 'Your Worship, are there any dwarf nuns in all of Europe ?'
The Pope, puzzled now, again thinks for a moment and then answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Europe .
'This time, all of the other dwarfs burst into laughter.
Once again, Grumpy turns around and silences them with an angry glare.
Grumpy turns back and says, 'Mr.. Pope! Are there ANY dwarf nuns anywhere in the world?'
The Pope, really confused by the questions says, 'I'm sorry, my son, there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world.'
The other dwarfs collapse into a heap, rolling and laughing, pounding the floor, tears rolling down their cheeks, as they begin chanting......
'Grumpy shagged a penguin!'

I plan to have another birthday next year.
