Good morning All, 12* clear and sunny. New fan belt and thermostat fitted, oil drained, now waiting on a new oil filter to arrive and fit prior to pouring in new oil. So, today I will put a coat of decking paint on the area that I have sanded and given pretreatment (20 M2).

[edit 8:27] Just got started and now some very light sprinkles of rain.

Yes it is cold at Ca$ino.
Just thought that I would inform you that an ex chairman of the CMCA board Garry Lee has passed away after fighting Cancer for the last couple of years. Garry was a member of the Canberra chapter but had moved to WA where he and Cathy purchased a place in Geraldton. Some of you may have known him.

Thanks for the notice Peter re Garry Lee Passing. Just got home from the foot specialist, start with U/sound, X/rays ,? steroid injection into the ligament. IF no improvement then he will do the NEW key hole procedure surg into the heel. SICK of all this crap with age. Thought I would try my luck and asked the Dr if he would bulk bill the gap? He looked shocked and replied "Do you know how much it costs to run premises"? So I replied, with a smile "Lovely merc sports you have". and to that he said "Good try" but no we don't bulk bill. Always ask I say. Might be time for a little nap I think

We finally arrived home this afternoon. We had a great time on our 'road less travelled' tour. Most of the roads were fine, with the exception of the bit of highway between Texas and Warialda. There are still lots of roadworks on the Newell hwy. The New England hwy needs a fair bit of work still and they are working on the range from Warwick down to Aratula.
