Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Finale destination is Morven Qld Jon. Been promising a mate for a few years we would get out there to catch up, he and his wife have been through some medical issues of late.
We worked together back in the 80/90s.

Good morning it is 14c & 18c is predicted, unfortunately we still have that chilling westerly wind, good sitting inside the glass doors in the sun.

I received my trophy at bowls on Thursday, photo taken but it hasn’t been posted yet, I’ll have t get Bruce to take one of me with it for Dot :D .
Certainly hasn’t been pleasant playing bowls, I need to be rugged up & find it confining trying to play, think I need to buy some thermal underwear   I also always play in a cap or hat & find it uncomfortable to play without one :? bring on Summer 🌺 guess we’ll complain it’s to hot when the time arrives :D .
Shirley & Bruce.

Good morning everyone again. Think I forgot to hit submit earlier on. Didn't achieve anything positive yesty, except Bandit got washed. We have a friend staying for a few days, so had a little gathering round the fire last night.
Just finished a nice bacon and egg brekky, now might have a sit in the sun. Have a top day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Spent yesterday trying to move vehicles around in the workshop yard, an interesting exercise to say the least  ended up shovelling up a trailer full of gravel and dragged it home with the mighty Prius, emptied out the lean-to on the side of the garage (again  ) and managed to get the rear of the trailer as far as the entrance to the lean-to this morning, but that was it, not enough manoeuvring room between the house and the dreaded prickly pear bush .....
Gunna see how much it costs to hire an electric jack hammer to get rid of the rock at the rear section of the lean-to .... might have had a win as far as keeping the frame of the soft sided truck body that's on the truck at the moment, up the side of the garage to replace the lean - to :D

The last one says it's 3600w, yet it is lighter and smaller than this Full Boar unit . One of the questions
Does the 3600w demolition hammer use a standard Australian 10 amp plug? reply was yes .... but that would mean it was only 2400w at best?
https://www.fullboartools.com.au/constr ... ion-hammer
but only listed as 1700w that I can get through the mate in Melbourne, delivered to Murray Bridge, for around $20 more.
Then there is this 4500w unit https://www.vevor.com.au/jack-hammer-c_ ... 0547252377 that looks the same as this unit https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/33469601231 ... R97NncumYg that at least has the PayPal back up assurance ......

but no idea just how big/powerful a unit I need :? A waste of money if I buy one too small to do what I need, but also a waste of money and my back buying something way bigger than I need ......

Anyone used such a device to give mew an idea of what power rating will do what sort of work ..... the fact some sell a flat blade and round nose shovel attachment has me wondering, how hard is the dirt in these people's garden?

I used a Hitachi one to demolish a brick swimming pool. It did the job with ease.

I'd go big as possible. Your vevor ebay looks the go. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334696012310? Extremely fast shipping too.
Have bought a few from them.

Get a price comparison.... https://www.vevor.com.au/s/jack-hammer

Just found on the listing, the 4500w unit has an impact force of 45j, the Full Boar 18kg 1700w unit has an impact force of 50j .... think I'll give the mate a ring ;) He works at the national distribution centre that supply Bunnings etc so he can buy them at Bunnings cost price .....
