Good Morning.
Yea we made it...no more sleeps
lift off at 10am.
We had a inch of rain from yesterday arvo till now, sky a bit clearer today.
Daughter said it was a sunny day at Elliott Heads...hope it stays that way.
Not a lot else went on here yesterday...I did mow the lawns again just managed to finish when the rain started.
Enjoy the rest of your trip Dot.
When are you departing David?
Over the backs sister lives at Heathcott, the river there broke its banks...luckily she lives on the high side of town. Lot of water in Vic.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. It overcast here, but no rain at the mo'. Enjoy your trip and your time with the family Bernie.
We are leaving tomorrow morning and heading down through Sydney. At least that's the current plan. The floods in Vic are a bit of a worry for friends in the affected areas.
Today is last pack and hookup day. I mowed all the grass yesty, and the bins got emptied. Still hearing the woodchippers and chainsaws all day. I reckon it will be the same for at least a month around here. Probably a lot longer in the worst affected areas.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Certainly warm here today, might wait till the sun settles a bit before climbing back up on the bus roof.
The problem appears to be poor quality rust repairs where the problem was just bogged over and painted ... the rust lifted the bog and left entry points from one side of the roof to the other. Poured some 30% phosphoric acid on the cleaned metal and into the gap under the fibreglass from shell, it reappeared at the rusty lines that had been appearing down the side. Folded up a "chux" cloth and taped it over the treated area, poured the rest of the acid mix onto it to soak it, then tape over the top of that ... it will be interesting to see, this afternoon, what affect 24 hrs has had on it ....
Have some fishoil coming and Valvoline Tectyl, I'll make a mix with some diesel to make the mix creep into any joints, and fingers crossed, I should be able to seal the roof up across the front ..... then the leak at the back to look at ..... probably the same problem .....
Fixed the busted door hinge where the bottom pivot point had broken away the plastic cover, made a replacement socket from a drilled out 8mm rivnut, and glued that in with some of that metal weld putty stuff and that appears to have done the job, door seals properly now, so the floor is repainted and it can go back in the bus.

Re: Good morning daily
Good afternoon everyone. It drizzled for most of the night at our place. But had cleared before we left just before 7am.
We are now down past Macksville, and it Terrie's turn to steer for a bit. We hope to clear Sydney later this evening.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Home at 1115hrs. All washing done and away, all food stuff out of fridge and freezer, Brian happily digging in the garden, weeds have gone berserk in the new mulch and the grass needs mowing. No issues with or near the bus Deborah and if there were then the pics I took would have gone straight to the cops. Had a nice time away even though my BIL is a tosser. He is talking about gong back to work at Graystar trailers, he designs all the new containers (refrigerated) My sister is hoping he does
Safe travels one and all.
