Good morning All. Having done some mowing yesterday evening after it had cooled off a bit I intended doing some more this morning prior to a GP visit however, the grass is wetter than if it had rained all night and probably won't be dry until about midday.

Re: Good morning daily
A very late good morning today. Think I stretched something in the left hip joint yesterday that I'm paying for today. Didn't get near as much as I'd hoped done yesterday, most of the time was fixing more dumb wiring stuff.
There were two sets of twin core cable close to the back of the grey water tank. One cable was 3mm sq conductor and went through the wall and ran beside the fuel tank, the other cable was 2mm sq conductor and ran across the back of the grey water tank.
I connected up 6mm auto cable (4.3mmm sq conductor) and wired it to the positive and negative 12v busbars .... and a pump started up ... the toilet vacuum pump. Tried to turn off the switch inside above the toilet bowl that is supposed to isolate the vac pump so it doesn't start up in the middle of the night ... pump still running ... light bulb moment
, that other twin core runs to the switch. The positive was 3mm sq running from one side of the motorhome to the other, through the switch and back again, then connected to the 2mm sq cable and ran back across to the toilet cassette thingy.
The only way to get to the switch wiring was to remove the 3.0i Honda generator and climb into the spot where the generator slide back into ... suspect that is where the hip injury occurred, certainly not as nimble as I once was
Cut all the cable ties I could reach and dragged the cable and split conduit out, drilled a hole in the wall and fed the cable straight to the back of the cassette area ... how hard would that have been to do in the first place
Ran the 6mm auto cable across, linked up most of the wiring to the cassette, just a few more wires to go and reinstall the cassette cradle assembly.... I'll see if that improves the vacuum toilet operation, if not, it all comes out and the macerator toilet goes in its place .... but that requires a tank and then it changes from a pink job to empty it to a blue job .... hope sorting the wiring fixes it

Good morning everyone.
Sounds like the same bloke done our wiring as well Terry
All done behind all the overhead cupboards before they were put in...impossible to get too, plus no draw wires
Apart from doing not much at all...I mowed the back lawn...may do the front today.
I could here the Brolga's on my morning walk...but couldn't see them because of the bush.
My next door the cattle farmer showed me a pic on his phone showing two rat Kangaroo's sitting on my front lawn...he took it from his Ute when he turned into his yard the headlight caught them...I will get pic from him when he figures out how to send to my phone

Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. You've got a diverse range of wildlife to check out on your morning walks Bernie. All we can usually expect to see are black swans and kangaroos.
We went out to lunch with a few old friends after we returned from our morning walk. There wasn't much afternoon left to do anything when we got home.
Not much else to report.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning All. 22* and drizzling rain here. Luckily, I managed, with difficulty, to mow my area of the reserve yesterday evening. The drainage work that the council has done has made it a mammoth task and I also need to whipper snip a large section.
My emphysema is catching up with me so I don't know how much longer I will be able to keep up the mowing

My upper lip, where I bit it, has developed a large blister which does not like hot coffee or cold drinks. I am smearing it with Hello Vera
