Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. How did all the clock fiddlers go?
It's been raining quite heavily here, with a few showers thrown in since late yesty arvo. Nothing like down south has had though.
Enjoy your b&e everybody. Have a top day. Safe travels all those that need to be out and about.
Cheers
David

Good morning 18c beautiful sunshine, prediction 27c, calm lake, not a soul to be seen on it, water still lapping underneath the jetties.

So good to be back to real time, our older two g’sons catch the bus at 7.20 the high school commences at 8am finish time 2pm, it’s still almost dark & cold with daylight saving in place, I’m sure they will be pleased with the change.

"tanks" here---
Sunday again and I am driving to Perth to be on-hand for a 09:00hrs Haemotology Specialist appointment at Royal Perth Hospital on Monday morning. My weight has dropped from the usual 75kg to 51.2kg hence the investigation consultation. I assume this is the first of several future trips to Perth, just for follow-up appointments. I hare the sound of more pills rattling.

The Swan Taxi is advanced booked for an 08:00 am pickup.
I'm not game enough to drive in Perth traffic and the Freeway scares the living s *** out of me with its peak-hour driving methods.
The drive from Wyalkatchem to Joondalup takes me around 3 hours of driving time, allowing for rest stops about every 45 minutes or so along the way.
Several of the Forum Members will recall Doone and her Mercedes Sprinter from my Dysart days. Doone and I have been around the "Block" three times; but clockwise and anti-clockwise. We have also had a few trips to Broome and the Far-North of the State.
I'll keep you posted on the Haematology Specialist Report in due course.
I plan to spend a few days with Doone going over "Old Times" and having a laugh. Doone had a birthday on 3rd April, so we can reminisce over past years and several cuppas.
Keith
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone.
Rain has stopped stars are out...we had 35mm for the last 24hrs.
NP what made you forget daylight saving was stopping because of all that rabbit food you eat hahaha only joking ;) ;)
All I done in the motorhome yesterday was fix a metal fly screen behind the fridge bottom vent...someone requested it
Today the tiny house is suppose to be delivered...time will tell...
I will be off for a walk as soon as it's light enough to be seen by the traffic, I do wear a red shirt to help them when I walk early.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. The sun is trying to shine through the overcast sky here. We had about 55mm through that whole rain event. So many other areas have had so much more. I hope it hasn't washed out a the veggie crops up in the growing areas.
We spent the weekend putting up a Vertical Joint panel wall in the main bedroom. We needed one of those apparently. So much for having a but of free time on the weekend.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers

Bernie, I live rather isolated from people, even though not far from a small town and time and days can get a bit left behind. Have always hated daylight saving, to me it's just another ploy for pushing consumerism and has no relevance to the facts. Isolating and not caring about it, whilst enjoying working round the property, forgot all about it until waking up to find it was an hour earlier then expected. Same with last night, went to bed usual time, woke up at my normal hour to discover still an hour to early, so watched two old western movies hadn't seen. Hopefully my body clock will adjust soon and can get back to a normal routine.

Today putting the rewound centrifuge motor in to make some fuel for next weekend, then hit the road for a bike test to see how it handles after the changes and fixes I've made. Might even come across a cool old lady looking for a ride :o . Looking forward to that, not been able to ride whilst waiting for parts from all the round the globe. They are a pretty rare machines in Aus and even rarer in Tas, especially 2008 models, so sourcing parts takes time and negotiations with overseas manufacturers as going through Aus or overseas dealers costs more and presents heaps of hassles with supply etc.

Getting a custom bikini fairing made for it in Aus, sent them some photos and they are going to provide some suggestions, looking forward to that. Have a nice day everyone, we have some more rain coming so want to test the bike before then.

As for the rabbit comment, grew up eating rabbit and loved it. People constantly make jokes about my diet, just smile and tell them to look in the mirror and they will see who the joke really is health wise. Works all the time and it's normally the most unhealthy beer gutted fools medicated to the eyeballs who make them, so it's nice to turn it around on them. Light hearted comments like yours make me smile and don't offend me. :)

Been to Belmont this morning rain hasn’t let up, just constant, did rain heavy on our return trip, can hardly see across the lake, very bleak.
If I'd known I'd live this long, I might have reconsidered a number of earlier marriages and spent the money traveling the world to all those great rock concerts I dream of attending if I had a time machine .... the rest of it ..... I wouldn't have lived long enough to experience anything much if I'd lived any wilder than I did in my youth

The 3 day drag racing event was great, been 26 yrs since the last one I attended and things have changed a great deal. Door slammers once looked like the old speedway sedans but with monster motors, they look more like pro stock cars these days. The Jnr dragsters have special motors these days, no longer modified Briggs and Stratton motors it seems.
Top Fuel only runs 1,000ft now, not the 1/4 mile, took a while before I realised that when I saw them post 3 sec passes  saw a number of records set in a number of different classes and super street cars running 7 sec passes .... then the 1000ft instead of 1/4 mile registered but the head is too old to do the equations to get a better perspective ..... but I still live in hope for a decent time in the Kombi when I finish electrifying it ..... there are drivers in their 70's still racing so .....
Didn't rain for the whole event, but cold heavy air in the evenings produced some incredible power from all the classes racing
