Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Later good morning :D 11.7c prediction 17c maximum, westerly wind feels colder, sun is shining so will be pleasant sitting inside our glass doors.

Bernie we had a problem with our diesel heater igniting & we had to replace a small part in same, we purchased it from Pinnacle Wholesaler in Victoria, rang them explained the problem & they posted same to us.
Bruce had to run heavier wire to the fridge to make it operate efficiently in our Coaster.

I was up just doing stuff 😁.
I turned the fridge and inverter off yesterday after we got home around 11am batteries on float.
Just tried to turn the heater on...no such luck 😡 victron sez 13.25 in the batteries. So possibly the cable size... when I get a chance I will put larger cable in.
Carol off to bingo today 😁 I haven't planned anything.
Sorry Dot nothing in the pockets.
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
What model heater, on of the chinese cheap ones on evilbay? If the fuel is doctored like the stuff in the cheap fuel stations, the heaters have trouble igniting it. Try neat kero in a container just before the rattle pump and drop the hose off at the heater. Let it run until kero comes through, then put those back on and try to run the heater. The kero should wash the garbage off the ignitor and allow it to fire up. Let it run at full pump rate till it gets up to full heat, the smoke might be an issue as it burns the rubbish off, so don't do it in the shed

Good morning everyone, its 11° here apparently. Feels a lot cooler. Should be a nice day ahead.
I set the smoke alarms off yesty arvo when I was grinding some lumpy concrete in the hallway. I still got in trouble, even though I was operating under instruction.
Not much else to report.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Good morning.
T1, none of what you said about removing fuel lines and pump ⛽ are applicable they can't be accessed due to the installation unfortunately. Yes Chinese, I fired it up yesterday around 8 am, all good
Today I will change the cable with a larger one.
Thanks Shirley.... Bruce probably put a new glo plug in nothing wrong with mine.
4 degrees outside at the moment 😡 fire's lit.
Carol had a win at bingo 😁.
Not much else going on.
Keep safe and warm.
Bernie.

Looks better Bernie. Be interested to know if you went back to Teebar if it'd work under the same drain on the battery by fridge etc. Better to find out BEFORE you take the bride out bush!!!
Is it connected to bus or house batteries?

Replaced the glow plug in our unit and it had used less than half a tank of fuel. It started getting stubborn to start up, then threw an error code a few days later. I bought two on evilbay for $30 each delivered, cheap enough to carry a spare or two, the heater has function flawlessly since, so probably damaged during manufacture .... at $199 (at the time) for the whole thing, I'll put up with the inconvenience of having to change a glow plug every so often.

glow plugs and mangled fingers is todays news. need a pic of the finger mash Terry. Dull day here but if it rains thats ok. G had to pump the new tyre up today could be the extension thing he put on so will shh if it holds the air now. I have done 2 loads of washing so that's my inside jobs done. Off outside for a while. :D

Gotta wonder about you sometimes Dottie ;) not much to see, wrapped two tissues over it to absorb the blood and carried on cutting the tree branches up so I could drag them to the pile of branches I had to cut down with the battery chain saw the day before .... didn't take that on the roof for safety reasons, turned out to be a wise move

Nigel says it's going to be cold.

I told him it already is.
