Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Its still very fresh here, about 3° currently. Might get up to 17, if we're lucky. It was very foggy yesty, til after lunch, then it turned into a beautiful sunny afternoon.
Great pic Jon. It looks like most most motorhomes, caravans and camper trailers have a white roof. We had a chopper ride at Tara, the other week , and it was kinda similar, but nowhere near as orderly. What was the traffic like on the way out?
It's Dday for us at the hospital today, all stakeholders involved and family to have a meeting at 10am. I don't think it will be a good day for the family.
Just as an FYI for anyone that was a member of the Aussiemotorhomers Forum, it closed down permanently the weekend, any and all info there has now been lost, I believe.
Safe travels everybody, have the best day that you can.
Cheers
David

Bernie.

I'm the boss, Phoenix is the softie. Softie wins every time. He loves the trips.

The bus is going well, although I have little air rams that lock the draws closed when the engine starts.
The controller started leaking last night. Have lubed it and will see how it goes. Not a big problem.

On the second part of the trip today. Heading towards the Burren Junction area.

I did realise the Aussiemotorhome forum was still running after Budget Barry passed .... I thought he was just about the only one posting on it, having arguments with himself because I wasn't allowed on there to argue with him

Managed to get the rusted areas where the paint burnt off in the workshop fire cleaned off with a wire wheel on an angle grinder, then attacked to remaining paint, didn't seem to be anything holding it on, it just flacked away to bare metal ...... My brush skills at least don't result in paint runs ... but it looks like I used a yard broom to apply it, a second coat today should hide that a bit. Not going for show quality, just trying to look less like cop bait ......
Haven't heard back about the "price match guaranteed" 40 ft containers delivered on site ... when I told one mob they were $1400 over priced compared to the next door workshop's purchase, no reply, the second one was a phone call .... "I'll check out what we have in the yard that is water tight but not shipping grade" about a week or more ago .... might have got run over by one of those monster forklifts or something

So, one of the first jobs for the truck might be picking up a 20 ft container, then moving the other container onto the concrete slab and try to build a roof over those https://exeq.com.au/product/20ft-x-20ft ... -end-wall/ I would want one 40 ft wide one so it went from the outsides of the container to keep the heat off them and the old container has a few rust holes in the roof .....

You see a lot of those shipping container sheds at construction sites. Always wondered how much one would cost.

Good morning.
We are off to Bundy today... apparently we need new kitchen chairs 🪑. Plus Bunnings 😜
I fiddled with the van for a bit, more fiddling required...
Carol won over $100 at he favourite bingo 😁...
About half the residents here have containers, bloke behind me has four..
Great weather at the moment 13 outside heading to 24 or there about.
Did you make your destination Jon.
Keep safe.

Good morning 14c, beautiful sunshine 21c predicted, the lake is a mill pond not even a ripple.

Bernie if you lived down here you could just drive around & collect table & chairs from residents collection piles unbelievable the good used furniture throw away, friend of mine recently purchased 4 good chairs from our Lions shed $25, the Lions don’t have facilities large enough to store the amount of furniture that they are offered.
Good win for Carol. 👌

My son had a container on his acreage, don’t know how much he paid for it.

Good morning All, 9*, cloudy and raining with max forecast 12*. We have just been advised by the resort office that this afternoon's tour of the local reservoir has been cancelled.
I had a sleep in until 9:15 and now have an aching back so may have to go for a walk in the rain to ease it.

Good morning everyone.
Bundy trip done and dusted, bank account down 😡.
Shirley I don't think it's legal anywhere in Queensland to put stuff out on the curbside... but I could be wrong... we have the new chairs alot better than the ones we had...plus compost and new plants, all I got was new blades for my reciprocating saw.
All done and home again by midday
And I finish the installation of the solar panel and controller on daughter's little van. Still to secure the fridge to the floor, will have a series look at that today.
Plus whatever else I'm told to do😁
It's 13 outside heading to 25...
Keep safe.
Bernie.
