No need to put Murphy on us Dottie, we've doing that well enough ourselves. Margaret ordered some Corelle dinnerware on line and having it sent here in the Illawarra, thinking we would still be here because I was planning to do the heads here at that stage. Now that plan has changed, we are here until that dinner set arrives, then we will take at least 3 days, if not more, to get home .... so, maybe Monday week?

We need an ETA then the bets can begin. As long as you have a working heater you will be fine. Hope Margaret is doing ok.

As long as the engine is running, it has a heater, if we have 240vac power, we have a heater, we have an Onan generator ...... if it really gets desperate, we can always run that so we have reverse cycle air conditioning, so by your calculations, Dottie, we will be fine :D

The engine is running again, so the plan to leave Monday is still in play ...... so, what are the bets on where we will overnight Monday? What time will we arrive at that destination ..... and for the trifecta, will we breakdown on the way?

Do I get to place a bet in this?

Let's hope no breakdowns and a slow leisurely trip home.
Take you time and smell the roses or what ever. Time on the road for a while is better than sitting on the block

The reason for mainly diesel trucks is that diesel was 1/3 the price of petrol in the 60s/70s.

This is the upgrade for the new bus when she gets home to add a bit of bling and give Margaret some extra cupboards to store stuff. It would cause some admiring glances at the rest stops.
