Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning All. 18* with 28* forecast
I haven't been doing much these last couple of weeks but hope to have the stitches removed from my hand on Thursday and get back to the MH door repairs.

Morning all.

At the rally. Meeting friends who I've met over the years. I don't think everyone realises how many people you know until you're walking around bumping into folk that you've met over the internet or in person somewhere.

Phoenix is doing what he does best. Melting hearts.

Darryl, Bill, Leslie, Petels, Derek and Jo, lot of the Highway Wanderers. All here. Should be a great social week.

What rig is Pet-els driving Jon? And where is the rally at? I did enjoy the rallies over the close to 20 yrs I was a member, they were twice a yr back then, Birthday Rally and Anniversary Rally where they held the AGM ..... it just became too political and less enjoyable, do they still hold the AGM at the rally? I think the last rally I attended was Barcaldine either 1 or 2 can't remember, but it was the NRL State of Origin the same week .... the locals really made us feel welcome at their local .......

Good morning.
I had a big sleep in 😴😴
Guess what...the spaces arrived 😁 and the aircon is in and running...and is quite no rooftop rattle... Carol is happy ☺️.
Nothing planned for today as yet.
Except for cleaning up the old aircon and selling it... hopefully.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

Cloudy. Petels has a little '10ft' van and new LDV courier van. He drives his 'Get-About' chariot (Something that Ceaser who have been proud to own) up into the LDV and tows the van behind. Happy as ever. Have a lot of time for Peter.

Playing bowls today. Should be a bit of fun.

We arrived in Ouyen around 3pm yesterday, got chatting to a few people here and enjoying a few cold drinks ..... till it was 6pm and I was in no fit state to be on a forum .... yeah, still Victoria ;)

I expect we will be home today, might see if we can locate Helen and Paul on the way through for a quick G'day, then on the workshop yard, yeah, I know, but logic won the day, we will at least have water and a dump point there, so just need to make it look better so Margaret is a bit happier about being there ..... at least we don't have to unpack when we get there

Travel safely and when the Pinnaroo people are searching your MH for hidden fruit, ask them for an up todate report on any electrical wiring issues that need fixing!!

We is in the gated community of 124 Adelaide Rd Mannum. Had a great catch up with Helen and Paul in a roadside stop on the Meningie Rd for a few hrs, then headed home and got here just on dark. Need to rearrange the vehicles to get a better view out the door ...... at the hedge that needs a major reconstruction to blend in the tree trunks growing out the top
I guess the engine strip down starts after that, to add to the cyls that aren't running, there appears to be a water leak under the manifold that managed to leak out around 100 ltrs on the trip home .... but fill the expansion tank in the morning with the motor running, then top up once the air bleeds out, and it seems to be ok for the days travel. Finally found the leak after stopping for lunch at Tooleybuc Sports hotel, very nice clean establishment, but not cheap to eat there or even a cup of coffee, by any stretch of the imagination ..... but both were good so it balanced out.

It's good to finally arrive without needing a tow truck, that was in the back of my mind for the whole trip, reassuring myself that each km we travelled under our own steam meant a cheaper trip on a float trailer to get the rest of the way ....

Used 3 tanks of LPG and 3/4 tank of petrol, so fuel $$ cost was similar to the Fuso, it just climbed hills so much better than the 6.2 ltr diesel, even though it was only running on less than the optimal number of cyls .... looking forward to seeing how it performs with all 10 cyls working and what the economy will be like, I'll put up with a few $$ more per 100kms for the ability to maintain 100km/h up the hills and stay with the traffic at the lights .... and not having to row it along with the gear lever and the clutch pedal ..... or needing to read the hill to determine which gear you should start the climb .... to late once the climb started with a diesel, not an issue with the LPG fueled V10, it just drops back out of converter lock, then out of over drive if needed, then changes up at the first chance it gets .... very happy with that .... no thoughts of ever going back to a diesel ... over rated ...
