Oh dear!!
No access if you remove that drawer?
Think I may face a similar problem when I replace the hot water system.

Re: Good morning daily
If it isn't working, simply smash the screen to get access.

Re: Good morning daily
haha .... hope it's not an older CRT job when it smashes!
I found a lot of ones on Youtube but most are different. Seems most take off the wooden surround though.

Dave....
Why not just remove the vent that's on the top shelf and access the TV? (the one next to the white plastic container.)

Re: Good morning daily
Jon, the vent in the top shelf is just a double GPO.
Bruce, the drawer is just another cupboard. It is only 100mm high internally.
George, its an LCD type of screen. To get it out the way I would have to systematically destroy the tv, and then clean up the mess.
I think I am going to have to cut a bigger access hole in one of the adjacent cupboards and gain access that way.

Re: Good morning daily
Buy a multi tool and a TV with a bigger screen. Draw out the size of the new TV screen around the frame work of the old tv, then cut along the dotted line

Smart idea. There ya go Dave.
Or, just cut through the bracket with a reciprocating hacksaw.

Re: Good morning daily
Had a similar experience with Girt when some shower plumbing developed a leak some years ago.
Bloques at Muckinupin worked out the problem was behind the one-piece shower cubicle — with a solid wall on the other side and a sealed box around the mini-bath base.
Solution: Bought a standard snap-in wall vent at local hardware store and cut a square hole the size of the snap-in tabs. Access the problem through the hole then insert the vent.
Looked like it had always been there, especially after a run of Silastic around the edge.

Re: Good morning daily
I'm going to start a new thread on this tomorrow and explain how to remove the TV. And then how to fit a new one. I've kinda had some success.
Cheers
