Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. It looks like the wind has finally blown our little storm clouds out to sea. The man thinks it might get to 27⁰ today. And it might be windy. We've had well over 100mm of rain in the past few days. I think the Wide Bay area up near Bernie has had quite a fair bit more.
The womenfolk all made it back safely, in the house by 8pm. About 15 hours of drive time.
I spent most of the day cleaning and vacuuming. The old knees are letting me know they're not happy.
I hope Tanks got to hospital and had a reasonable night.
Have the best day possible everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
David

Good morning.
We had a day of no rain 😲 but we got the wind Dave mentioned...
And it was a good thing we went to maryborough Wednesday...the Isis hwy was closed for several hours yesterday...
And believe it or not...I mowed the back yard... front still to wet...
Clear skies this morning...
Thinking of you Keith...
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. We had a very windy, no rain day yesterday. It was what my old mum would call a 'good drying day'.I even managed to mow the grass out the front.
Didn't achieve much else though, felt a bit crook all day.
I haven't a clue what's on the agenda for today yet.
Does anyone have an update on Tanks?
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

As from Keith Yesterday:-
He has caught COVID since his stay in Northan Hospital last week, so for now he's back in isolation in the recuss unit.
The hacking cough has gone and he is being fed lots of intravenous antibiotics and steroids slowly getting on top of it but the slightest exertion puts him into breathing difficulties.
Tired but not sleeping anymore than one hour at a time.

He doesn't have his laptop with him, so any reports are secondhand, and all communications are by phone TXT. I'm passing them on when I get them from him, as he requests.

Shirley, you are right. I only got covid before going to hospital because a friend thought he had a funny flu thing and didn't bother to test. He thought it was too mild to be covid. I suspect that as a community, we have decided to ignore the possibility that a sniffle could be so serious and testing is just not happening. If the hospitals were back to being more rigid with their testing protocols, no more covid in hospitals. I think they should also test or remove visitors who sniffle/cough too.

Had a good drive to Forster today. Quite a few motorbike coppers on the roads. We seem to have missed the first day of school holiday traffic blues, by leaving home before the Sydneyites could get past the Hawkesbury traffic bottleneck. Nearly all set up and ready to repel invaders. As all of our family will be here this time I am practising using diplomacy and treading on egg shells.

Hope Tanks is on the improve,
happy whatever xxx
Deborah

Good morning.
Another day of no rain...
I mowed almost all the front lawn... there is about 12 or so square feet that is still to wet, maybe later today it will be done..
Dave have you found a replacement TV yet ?
I have no urgent plans for today... that I know of..
Maybe just fiddle around in the shed, try to look busy... incase herself finds me something to do 😁
Keep safe everyone.

Good morning everyone. It's another nice sunny day here again. Might make 27⁰.
Didn't really achieve much yesty, apart from walking the dog. And going to the eldest sons place and giving him the tune up that he needed.
Haven't got a TV yet Bernie, maybe today.
Enjoy the weekend everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
