Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I'm going to guess $3750.00 and we'll see which way it goes from there. Or, you could just tell us.
At the end of the day, it's none of our business how much you paid. If you bought it at auction, then you paid what you thought it was worth at the time.
And a 'proper trailer' won't inflict any more damage on the sills and doors of any of your ever increasing fleet of vehicles.
Cheers

OK, then I needed to add $500 to what you thought was too much  Then there was another $700 in "processing fees" Pickles threw on top ..... because it went over a certain value  If they had ended the auction at 6pm as advertised, I was up for around $2500, by adding 10 mins each time a counter bid was made, we were each allowing $200 over the next bid price to give us what we thought was an advantage, turns out Pickles adds $100 over and above the other bidders max bid, so in 50 mins it went up $2,000
What took my mind off the game was I also had another trailer I was bidding on, dual axle, breakaway system so electric brakes, rated for 3500kg with a heap of steel I would have cut off anyway to reduce the tare weight, allowing me to carry up to 3 tonne .... but it had ridiculously long ramps that hinged on the rear, so I would have had to make better ramps .... and time was still an issue ..... I ended up letting it go, only to pay close to the same money for this one

Never mind, it's only money .... and endless ribbing ....

T1,
Would it not have been cheaper to buy a NEW Tilta-Trailer?
I think they only charge $500 to deliver to your door from Brisbane.
Oh, I forgot. You no longer have a front door.
Sorry.

Oouuch, a hit below the belt there Ray .... no points and a mark on your score card

To get the tilting trailer at legal weight capacity and electric brakes and tandem axle made here in Adelaide was $6,500 + GST, but they couldn't have one built before the end of February and that was when we needed it at the latest .... I would have paid the $7,100 if they could have built it in time, just so I had a brand new legal trailer built to carry 3.5 tonne

Your sorry, can imagine how I feel  It was $3,800 when the auction finished, then GST brought it up to $4,200, then their "handling fee" and GST on top of that brought it up to $4,893  I knew there would be costs on top, but over $1,000 ..... Anyway, what is done is did, I've paid for it so I'll be eating cold water sandwiches without the bread till next half a pension day

Good morning everyone.
We had a sunny day and no rain ☔... Carol washed the sheets 😁.
My seal's didn't arrive in the mail...so now can't put the wheel hub on till possible Monday 😡.
I had a new infostation of baby grass hoppers in the veggie patch...so I double doused them with garlic chilli and paretheren......bad spelling 😁...I also spent some time spraying weeds..
Our Son and lady friend are coming out today and are taking us out for lunch 😀..
I might order water sandwiches without the bread 🍞😛
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Another week done and dusted.
The weather looks like its getting better.
Spent most of yesty tiling the kitchen splashback, so I can install the new rangehood. It's been a saga. Someone's gunna paint in there today. It won't be me.
Not much else going on.
How's the golf going Jon?
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning all.

We have rabbits... there are quite a few this year. Have been progressively getting more. But this year, they transit under the house which is about a 18 inches off the ground.

I started to bury some wire around the outside stumps last week. But discovered that some were rotten. Due to a bad down pipe.

So, I have to replace them. Hopefully only about 5band on the edge.

Golf is good Dave. Last few games have been great. Dropped a stoke, but still not my best. Down to a 19 handicap.
