Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Looks like another repeat of yesterday weather wise. BoM is hedging the bet. Might get to 30⁰ and we might get a bit of rain and we might get a thunderstorm.
Did nothing yesterday, went for a drive and had lunch at a pub up near Haigslea on the Warrego Hwy. Had a decent for for not a lot of money. We then wandered back home the back way. Lucky for me Terrie doesn't drink, so I had a couple of beers.
Bernie, I hope your seals turn up today.
Terry, put up a pic of your HWS.
It's hump day, so everyone should be happy.
Safe travels.
Cheers
David

The hot water system is a Suburban model No. SW6DEA, found the manual in all the Winnie paperwork.

It's gunna be a warm one today I think, 32* already and climbing rapidly. Off to the PO to see in my hospital admission letter is there, only 2 days before the eye goes under the knife, so I hope it is there and I don't have to navigate the RAH telephone system to find the dept I need. Can't call the phone number back, it was set to private number ....

T1, while you are fluffing around with the HWS, put a new anode in it. I'll betcha it needs one.

No Jon, no continuity between the terminals in the on or off position, faulty switch. Every chance this is the original water heater, If I can get it going again on both 240vac and gas for now, I organise a replacement unit to add to the list of things that needed doing at some time ...... if I have a replacement unit on hand, it will work till the day I die ;)

Why gas? The batteries are good for 450amps. ;)

The previous owner supplied one and a tube spanner to fit .... I'll wait till all the hotwater is used before I attempt to remove it ... learnt the hard way with the hotwater cyl at the house when I pulled the heater element out to flush the mud out of the bottom .... It had been off for 2 days and we both had a shower that morning .... still got me
