Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Its 27⁰ here heading for 31⁰. Bright sunny day, all our rain has moved on. We had 80mm yesterday. Wasn't a very nice day.
We are starting to see eggs back in the supermarket, but you can't beat home grown eggs for freshness.
Enjoy your b&e Bernie.
We'll be cleaning blinds and windows today. Can't see that being much fun.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
David

Must be several types of bird flu?
I read that Australia is the only continent that doesn't have H5 & H7 bird flu.
Seems those can be spread to other animals & humans?

Haven't seen much effect from bird flu on eggs over here .... although, a while back Aldi was a bit on the slim picking as far as eggs went, but only a week or so, the local IGA was still well stocked.
I believe Pace farms will be hit the hardest in the forced shift to free range rather than caged production methods, don't know much about the other one ....

Today might be back to the inverter wiring .... as long as something more urgent doesn't interfere with that plan

"tanks" here---
It's raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock over here, and the temp was only 18c at 9 am this morning and expected to climb to 24c sometime later today. I had a sleep-in, which was unusual for me.
Yesterday, the temperature was 38 degrees at 6 pm.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Geez Tanks, I haven't heard that expression of rain intensity for many years. That's for the memory. :D

Bruce, the variant that caused all the grief in Vic is H7N8 avian influenza. That's according to the Vic Gov Emergency website.
I believe it was the same variant that hit Pace Farms in NSW a year or so back.

Morning everyone.
That reminds me I'll see if I can get a flu shot in the coming weeks...
Hey I finally put the battery charger back in 😁😁
I've conceded defeat with the catapillers... and pulled all the tomato plants out...I found the catapillers pupating under the soil... but not anymore...😡
Carol will be off to bingo today... and I might get a chance to look at putting the taillights on the trailer...
Not much else going on...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. We are headed for a top of 27⁰ today with a few showers, and a high level of humidity. In other words it will be sticky and yuck.
We started cleaning some of the windows and slat blinds, they were going a bit mouldy after the rain following the cyclone. More of that today.
The eldest gkid came around and we buffed the bonnet of his little buzzbox again. It's not worth repainting, but he loves it.
I remember what my first car was like, freedom on wheels.
Not much else to report.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Today was getting the wiring connected to the inverter day. Tomorrow will be a non Winnie work day, Margaret has an appointment at the Flinders Hospital, so the day will be over by the time we get home. I'll post a few photos in the Winnie thread ....
