Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. It's a lovely morning here in Mulwala. A little bit fresh still but might get to 30⁰ today.
I spent a good while grubbing out bindii's and cats eye burrs from the yard here, and the back lane. It's never fun, but it's less fun standing on one in bare feet in the house.
We are taking the MiL out for breakfast. Her favourite place overlooks the lake.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
David

Dropped off supplies to Margaret last night, and Coco so they could have a cuddle, they both seemed to be better for that. Back onto the trailer today, cut the slots to hold the ramps yesterday,, but just too hot in the sun to do much.

Good morning.
Another slow day.... just the usual gardening and stuff.
My winter veggies are starting to climb out from under..
I'm going to buy some of that bird netting to try and fool the insects... this will be over the individual raised bed's so I'll have two barriers...I hope 🤔.
Yes I remember when welding outside of the shed one day when I started to smell smoke...yep a spark had ignited the grass behind me 😡😡 luckily for me the hose wasn't far away...
So Katie is now a high flyer 😜😜... should've they been dressed in pink 😇😇
Keep safe.
Bernie..

Looking seriously like Taggerty and all travelling might be off for a while. The MRI shows the infection is in the heal bone, same as what it turned out to be with the toes on the other foot ...... just hoping they can do a clean out and the bone will recover ......

Good that they have discovered the problem with the foot Terry, hopefully they will be able to treat it & Margaret recovers quickly.

Oh geez,

That's no good. I hope they can sort out the infection and the cause.

With a history of over 23 yrs with these infections working their way into the bone, it didn't come as a surprise to me. I've suspected that was the problem early on, but it mustn't have been serious enough for it to show up before.
It should have been evident when they dug out the section of her foot 2 weeks ago, but I guess they were trying to minimise how deep they went and had no test results that showed it was in the bone at the stage.

With the infection in the bone, it kills all the flesh around the area, so the fix they did was actually just growing a cover over the problem .....

Every time they have her ready to wheel off to the theatre for the op, another ambulance case requiring surgery pushes her back.
With the Easter road carnage kicking off on Thursday, it's not a good time to be waiting for a turn in the operating theatre, the surgeons and staff are pushed to the max and that is when mistakes happen .....

The last time the infection drilled down into the bone, it was the big toe on the other foot, she was going through the first attack when I met her, she lost half a toe from that one.

It takes over 12 mths recovery each time, this one is much bigger .... fingers and toes and eyes are crossed, hoping they can sort it this time, each attack is worse than the last .... don't really want to think about where it could go from here if they can't stop it this time
