Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Was that at Ferntree Gully test centre Jon? I got my motorcycle licence there, back in the day. But that's a whole different story from another time.
Well done Josh. Onward and upward from here. :D
Cheers

Good morning.
As I said yesterday... because of Carol's physio thingy the day was over by the time we arrived home again 😡.
So instead of fluffing around in the shed not much else was achieved...her physio person said all was well with the knee...
Good to see your back Dot 😀
Up here most get a driving school for the licence test, all of our grandkids used them... seven if them. One will never get one...he lives in Brisbane and don't need one another is still having lessons... and one still to young 😊
Well done Josh...
Keep safe.

Morning all.

Freshening this morning.

Thing is Bernie, here, they have to have 120 hours of driving. It's taken almost a year to get that for Josh.

Some fake it. But the trsters know as soon as they drive off.

Same with the hours here Jon
All recorded on their phones VIA the government website

Ahh, I didn't know.

While it seems a lot, it was interesting watching the step improvements.
I think in the last 15-20 hours , there was a moment when they really started to drive the car.

Glad I didn't have to rack up 120 hrs on my L plates, only had 1 x 3mth permit and did the test 2 days after that expired ..... Took the full 20 mins they allow for each test, testing officer told me he'd never passed anyone on their first test and he was retiring in a few mths and expected to keep up his record. Confidence booster :o
Told me when we got back to the Motor Registry that I had broken his record and I hoped I was happy .... happy, I was over the moon  I'd been driving since I was 14 and worried I'd picked up bad habits, told he I drove the milk truck on my before school job and that made him feel better  Didn't think it would have been a good idea to tell him I'd been driving unlicenced all that time as well

Some law's didn't make sense... when I was a learner motorbike rider I had to have a licenced rider on the back off the bike with me...but once I got my licence I was not allowed to have a pillion passenger ...go figure...
I got the licence at Chullora motor registry...

I rode into Tamworth Cop Shop to get my motorbike licence and on arrival the Cop said "you're OK, you've passed, I saw you riding along the road on your way here".

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful sunny morning here at Mulwala right now. Currently 10⁰ and I'm sitting in the sun trying to warm up a bit. We might be taking the MiL on a tour of the painted grain silos that are reasonably close by, and then have lunch over in Benalla maybe. Anything to try and get the old girl out of the house.
Have a top day everybody. Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Good morning.
I went to the doctor for the results of the blood tests... all good 😊 plus I needed scripts...AND...I said I have an itchy thingy on my back... can he have a look.... looks like I may have a skin cancer...he needs a biopsy done, but that doesn't look like happening till the end of the month.
No nurse available... I don't know how I would get a skin cancer there...back is never in the Sun ☀️..
We done those silos back when we were camped at Tungamah killing time before Taggarty years back.
I also went to Biggenden engineering for a quote on the metal for the top of the welding bench...I just missed the boss he took a early day...so no one there could give me a quote... next Monday... maybe..
I might just get under the motorhome today and try to fit that pesky sway bar bracket... another maybe 🤔😁
Yesterday was a cool one...I kept the fire going for herself...I'm starting to run out of timber...I can get some from one of the neighbours block's... but my new chainsaw hasn't arrived yet... and my old one's have chucked the towel in 🤬🤬
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Thanks Deborah...
