Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. It's almost 9pm here, or 2100 hrs if I'm trying to confuse Bernie. We have had a big day in Venice. First a bus ride to the ferry terminal, then a ferry down the lagoon to St Mark's Square. The place is packed. It's graduation day for one of the local uni's and there are lots of excited people everywhere.
We did all the usual tourist stuff then reverse the procedure and back to the hotel.
It's getting dark here around 5.30pm but the days have been excellent, weather wise. We still haven't had any rain on this trip.
Tomorrow we are off to the islands of Murano and Burano, which are famous for their works of art in glass.
So it's time for a happy hump day from Italy.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers
David

Good morning All. Forecast max of 21* so a good day for cleaning of MH inside.

I spoke to Julie on zoom last night and asked if she had her packing done as she was supposed to be getting home on Thursday, or so she told everyone. Just as well I asked as, after checking flight details she found that she will not be arriving home until Friday.

Good morning all, George has reported on a weather another good day :D

Bernie, Bruce has wet macular degeneration in his right eye, the injection is to try & save the little vision that he still has in it, at least the injections have spread out to every 3 months.

Enjoy Italy David, good reading your reports.

I had an Echocardiogram last Friday, haven’t heard from the GP, must of been ok as was my lung X-ray, I have been short breathed, GP thinks it could be my asthma, I think it’s the puffer that I’m using or old age

Recently bought Oliver a laptop, this morning he asked me to buy him a key board, he’ll pay half  for gaming, told him he’s received his Christmas & birthday present, he’s off to high school next year.

Thankfully the black blobs in the eyesight have gone over night. Not a good sign, Professor Chan said there were signs of bleeding in both eyes, even with the reduction to 8 week gaps between the needles, traveling will be restricted to shorter trips it seems unless they stabilise. Oddly enough, the eyes specialist said my eye sight was good enough not to require glasses anymore to drive .... wasn't expecting that with the left eye having the reading lense fitted and the right eye with the distance/driving lense, but apparently my distance vision through the reading lense is good enough to drive .......

Off to have the Einstein hair style tamed a bit, Margaret is off for her first physio appointment in Murray Bridge after lunch and I had a call from the truck mob that have my containers and are picking up the dome today from Shepperton ..... so it's all systems go .... sort of ....

Back to engine reassembly when I get back from the barber shop, appears my aluminium hose joiner pieces would get here until the 25th now, yet another delay ..... I still have the gas tanks to clean down, paint and the same for the mounting straps, then refit them, so there won't be much time for sitting around between now and the 25th I guess ....

Good morning everyone. We are just starting out on the last day of our tour. It might get to 16⁰ if we're lucky and we are on the bus heading to the ferry to see Murano and Burano. It's a 100ft fog at the mo', and our driver is doing a good job of staying on the wrong side of the road.
Safe travels all those out and about. I'm hoping all those having/had medical procedures get the results they desire and can get back on track with a minimum of fuss.
Cheers

Dot, you do know that Dr Google is very dangerous? Hope it hasn't frightened you off, from talking with your quack about it. I hope your lump incision clears asap and you have no further problems with it. Sleep tight mate xxxx

David, I haven't been real green with envy about your travels but once you mention Murano, I am a bright shade of green now. That is one of the few places in the world that I would love to visit. A glassy friend won a scholarship to study there and she has gone on to making some amazing jewellery. I would be happy just to visit the museum and shops. Enjoy it all for me please.

We drove to Bathurst with very little problems. All the rest stops had spaces that we could fit in and we were able to have a relaxed lunch stop and his morning tea stop was easy too. We have been given a great site at the showgrounds, between two buildings, so I am happy. Bad luck about the three degree night.

We went into a junk shop to get some stands for my stall that our junk shop had run out of. That was an eye opening experience. At first we thought we were in the middle of an aldi add. The person in front of us had hundreds of tiny pieces of crap. Once she finished handing up the bits from that bag, she had another bag on the floor to be emptied. There was nothing of any value in it, things like tiny snowglobes and tinsel. When it was all finally totalled it came to $540 . Person did not even flinch, She paid with her phone and then all hell broke loose. The cashier couldn't get the till to finalise the sale and we waited for 15 minutes while she phoned the manager for help. The customer, dressed in tiny shorts, a singlet and a full leg of tattoos, proceeded to behave very badly. Her language was threatening and abusive. As he had done the research to find this shop, his nibs wasn't about to just walk away. I was ready to dump the display shelving and run, but the till finally did what was needed and the loud mouth could leave us in peace. That's a memorable start to our weekend away. Our thoughts are that she said she was on centrelink and yet, she could spend so much money on worthless crap. No wonder our taxes are beyond ridiculous.

tomorrow, we will sleep in and see what the day brings.
night all xxx
Deborah

Good morning.
I almost got away from doing nothing...the biggy for the day was moving the motorhome from its shed and it's now on the other side of the property... and today I will remove the old awning...I hope 😁... tracking has the new one on its way... so I need my finger out 😜😇..
Other than that I done the usual gardening stuff...
Carol went to Biggenden swimming with some of her mates... she reckons she can't do laps in the spar..🤔🤔
Keep safe.
Bernie.
