Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning again..
Stop your wanders Jon..I had a cuppla videos on my aviation forum... and one on cv' s... that one was 29 minutes... also why T1 posted before me 😜..
I get up at 4.30 plus or minus everyday...
Not much went on at home yesterday... Carol had a win.
I ended up driving to Redridge yesterday arvo...old mate advertised a metal box for sale...tiz now mine only 15 bucks... it's for the car trailer...
I also bought some paint and Sikaflex in Childers on the way over... paint will probably be used today... maybe..
It's already 25 degrees at the moment... and climbing..
Keep safe.
Bernie.
A cuppla more bits...Olivia the not so small granddaughter has come back from overseas with possably covid...and the only thing on my trails camera was a feral cat

Now you've got a bit of time to make sure everything is good to go. Like a bolt and hose clamp check. And a bit of a road test.
Cheers

Thank you for the support, it has been a battle, old man time seems to have hands that move faster than mine these days ....

First thing was to actually transform the control systems for the 4 thermofans, from the bush mechanics patchwork of bit hanging off other bits and secured in rather unorthodox ways using the cables to keep it all together, into something actually mounted on a piece of aluminium cut to fit an available spot ..... so it at least looks a bit less like a farmer's paddock repair

A bit of progress on that front occurred in roughly 1 hrs spurts, the heat and the fact I probably over did it yesterday .... considering I'm not as young as I once was, today was a much lower intensity day and a lot more resting .....

Even when I get it all together and feel satisfied with it, there will be at least a day clearing up the whirlwind of bits and tools that have gathered around the work area

Morning everyone..
Yer I get into trouble using the table in the patio as a place for tool's as one progresses through what ever job is at hand 😁..
I had a quick trip to Biggenden for blood test yesterday... apparently my B 12 or something is low 🤔..
I have one of the A frames over at the Hino and the 6 metre plank, and on the other end the platform... I can now walk along the the whole distance...
Plan today is to try and finish the top of the Hino and maybe get the left hand side of the arms on... maybe..,😋🤔..temps still in the top of the 30s...24 at the moment.
Nothing on the trails camera this morning..
Who's Gunna beat me ? 😷
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Me, I saw you 'come in'!
I'm thinking about a run into Mackay today to get this nail out of the truck tyre.
Also might see if I can find an engineering/welding place to sell me an 8cm length of 1" square high tensile piece of steel. I need a MALE to MALE adaptor of 4cm sq one end 3/4" by 4cm of 1" sq the other.
I can find heaps of female one end & male the other but ......
It's so I can use my long wheel spanner (3/4") in the torque socket (1").
I'm trying to avoid using the torque unit to put the wheel back on. Get it?

A grey sky day at the moment, must have slept wrong and twisted my neck or something, very painful at the moment and working on creating a migraine ..... weather is finally kind and the body gives out

Todays plan was to get this thermofan control sorted, still trying to come up with an idea on how to incorporate the thermostat switch into the trans oil cooler, maybe a surface mount type and attach it to the intlet pipe and a second one to the outlet pipe, then drill/tap the thermostat housing to put one in there ..... the last one maybe a manual switch for the one above the lower radiator hose connection to switch if the temp starts to climb on a long uphill pull .....
