Hypothetical question Peter,
If the RCD in this unit was replaced with an RVD/RCD combo unit, would this be the ideal interface between a 2500w inverter and the mains power inlet to a motorhome or caravan by plugging a 15 amp lead between the two? Naturally, the unit would need to be somewhere out of the weather like the inverter would be, say in a locker or the caravan boot.

Hi Terry
Keep watching

You just may see something on that line before long.
It would be weather proof!
Just what the doctor ordered
& be very good for the purpose of connecting both Inverters & generators via the van inlet socket with all the safety features of a RCD PLUS ;)
