5kva.I wouldn't mind that much on my roof.
Hope you enjoy seeing your meter go backwards when it is a good solar day.
Cheers

The day started out cloudy again but by 1000hrs it had mostly cleared with just a few clouds rolling through, the afternoon was mostly cloud free. The solar system produced 20.1kwh for the day. Peak output was 4776 watts

And yes David, I was very happy seeing the meter going backwards :)

All in all a happy little vegemiter :) :)

Forecast is for clear skies tomorrow so I will report back on how it goes with a full days winter sunshine

I hope you have recorded the meter reading before the system was connected, if the reading is less the next time they read it than the time they read it last, the system counts electricity use as the meter being clocked and the up to the current reading, huge bills, not rebates, then you have to fight them through the courts. their rulling is the system should not be connected to the grid before the smart meter is fitted, then it reads what went out and what came in. The next trick is, if there is only outgoing and no incoming, they disconnect you from the grid  It's all their way

In NSW for a new system or if you just bought a house with a system fitted, 6c per kWh, everything you produce, anything you use is sold back to you at whatever the load rated period cost is when you use it, 44c per kWh in peak load time, govt legalised theft and extortion. Welcome to brave the new world, I'm wondering what will be in store for us after Sept 14, we may not have seen anything yet

Up here Ergon won't replace the meter until after the solar is installed. We are paying 23.071 c/kwh and are on an 8c rebate, I am not planning on making a lot of money out of it but it should reduce our bill dramatically. I saw the meter running backwards but will check tomorrow to see if the little odometer actually went backwards. Apparently 6-8 week wait for a new meter, If the odometer actually goes backward I will manage use so that there is only a small increase ;)

Hi Wilbor
No harm in it going backwards as long as it does no go back further than THEIR LAST meter reading, check your LAST bill ;) :)
Too bad you were too late for the 47c rebate :(
The "odo" meter will turn backwards if the motor disc is running backward. :)

That 23.071c goes up to around 28c from last reading!!!
& the DAILY service supply charge just about doubles
