Airlie beach is a wonderful place full of colour, sunshine, and roadworks.

Did you visit Shute Harbour Russell?
I ventured out there some years ago with my 40ft Bedford with car on a trailer & got the shock of my life!!! Wasn't much room to turn around once I got over THAT hill!!! Wasn't prepared for going down so low in the gearbox!

Shute Harbour is only a stone throw from Airlie, you have to go & have a look even if you don't want to go out to any of the islands.
