Can you post a link for the unit. Sounds like good value at that price.

Hi Dirk,
This is what we bought in May:

7.0" Car Truck Lorry Coach HGV GPS Australia NZ Map POI TTS SpeedCam Buletooth
Item Id: 150886632245
Seller: tcromall (720)
99.2% Positive Feedback
Member since Nov-20-11 in China
Location: 廣東省, China

I should have also mentioned that I was given access to free map downloads for any countries I needed (I now have all of Europe from Norway to Russia to Turkey, plus Hong Kong, Australia & NZ.), although the unit can be supplied with whatever you ask for. These appear to be based on Google maps and seem to be as up to date as possible. Remember that the unit will only be really useful if "Truck Maps" are available for your country, and from memory I think this included Australia, but not NZ. The eBay seller was good to deal with and responded quickly to our email queries.

We found the Bluetooth performance could be a bit better but we don't use that anyway. The FM transmitter works extremely well. There is also an input socket for a backing camera and the device can also be used as an E-book reader, play music and video files and if you're really desperate will also do basic word processing and various other functions. It comes with a pre-loaded "User Manual" in reasonable English, although this only tells you a small part of what the unit is capable of. It came complete with mains and 12/24V car charger, USB cable, a very good windscreen mount (sucker type) and a clip-on visor.

We think it was very good value for the money, which I think from memory was AUD$ 79 with free delivery. Apart from being happy customers, we have no financial or other interest in the promotion of this device! .... and unlike Russell's generous offer, "No, you can't borrow ours to try it. We'd be lost without it!"

Sounds the same as mine that I can't see in daylight.
Be warned that if that seller suggests you can get life free updates that every few months he changes his name & your password to get the latest updates won't work any more.
His name was MallGo when I bought mine.
Next it was Igo_Smiley

Oh the GPS thingy? It's in the bus, he has put it all together and charged it up, then he is to put in the bus's weight, height etc so that is all for him but he has read the book, reckon we will know if he got it right when we take off.. Never fear will let you know. :D

George will have it spot on, no doubt of that. This is secret mens business sorting this sort of thing out. It has to be right and of course men do it right..... Everyone knows these GPS's were invented to save mens sanity with women who can't read a map.

Ducking into the air raid shelter now.....

I do not read maps at all. they have been drawn by men and they are upside down no wonder people can't read them  I shall surely tell you when either the machine or the G man leads me (The driver) the wrong way.. When will those machines have an Elvis voice giving directions? :?: and not those up emselves females :?:

Dot I think nearly all have several voices to choose from.
Garmin, in particular, you can log in to your 'facility' and install as many voices as you like.
The main criteria is to be able to hear it clearly & understand it.
Some of those USA voices aren't too good for us Aussies to interpret.
