Another free overnighter due for the chop

Stotts Island Nature Reserve on the Tweed River has long been a popular free overniight stop within easy reach of the Gold Coast. Also know as Bruce Chick Park, it is located along the Tweed Valley Way between the Pacific Highway and the village of Tumbulgum.

Council is considering a number of options for the future of the park. Their prefered option involves closing it to overnight stopovers.

But they are asking for submissions and this is a chance for nomads to provide some input to try to save this excellent overnighter.
