Macquarie Woods Camps 6 #1021. What a hole - only has picnic tables (covered), rubbish bins and clean toilets. Sheesh!

Shirley, I work for the local Water Authority and spend at least half my time at the main sewer plant. It does have an upside though as it is right in the middle of a huge conservation area, so I get to see some interesting wildlife from time to time...... as opposed to what a lot of folk think.
It has massive effluent holding lagoons so we get a huge amount of migratory birdlife. And it has its own kangaroo, wallaby and swan and duck populations. It isn't always about the turdles.

Geez you are on the ball Shirley, and the pumpkins aren't bad either.
Some of the ducks are keeling over now due to the yearly botulism outbreak (it's a seasonal thing). We could have roast duck every day but the eagles keep beating us to 'em.
I will try to get some pics next week. Apart from the obvious it can be a very interesting place to spend a day or 2.
