Might be time to just buy a replacement Wayne and think about fixing it later on for a spare?
Simple things ..... there is power at the power point it's plugged into?
Some 240v items have a diode in them that blows if connected to the battery in reverse. Terry might answer that one for the Ctek charger?
Says it's 'auto protect' but I don't know if that means auto reset or not.
If there's no lights at all lighting up then it doesn't sound too good to me!

I bought a small one recently at a garage sale for $50 and the mode button is on the way out -so it is a fault in some. I just know how to press it on one side to get it to work

There are 2 fuses but nothing really repairable in them as they use surface mount electronic components rather than through board components, surface mount components are solder pasted and the board oven baked to melt the solder, real hard to remove failed components for replacement. If you knew your way around the circuit board you could test a few areas using the multi meter, but it's not something I'd suggest for anyone with a high level of skill as that is 240vac coming in one end and a crispy fried Wayne would result if you touched the wrong thing. After being blamed for the failure of your inverter that later turned out to be a result of Wayne being the techo who had been inside it and that was the real reason for the smoke coming out, I'm in no rush to advise any possible repairs.
