Been a while since this was updated.
Cruised Alaska, breathtaking....trained across Canada, all the way to New York in the end, on to the Queen Mary2 and today landed in England. We both have a dose of homesickness, so will probably head home early July and leave Europe for another trip. Blog overdue for an update, but we will get there.

You two are really having a ball aren't you? So this means that next July/Aug you will be ready to do the trip over to Qld for a gathering so we can have all the stories from your trip. I know there are some doozies to be told in only the way Christine can tell :)

Martin,

Long time ago, I got homesick on a long trip; pushed though it for a week and then kept on going.

Jon,
a lot of it stems from seeing so much, ans simply not having enough processing time. Plus Caroline misses the dog !

Martin, You are doing my dream trip. Maybe you can help convince my missus that everyone should do that trip before they fall off their perch...

We will be picking their brains when they get home and settled as that is the trip we also want to do that's why I am loving their blog and fb stories.

We are of the opinion that you cannot take it with you, and as responsible parents we do not wish to leave anything behind that might cause grief with our children....

been a while.
Blog well behind. We both got a bit homesick, so after touring England and Scotland, we flew to Kuala Lumpur and lazed there for about 12 days. Flew back into Perth this morning. Carolne got a farewell dose o foodpoisoning, causing an inteesting plane departure. All passengers had to stay on board till quarantine officials gave her the 3rd degree to make sure she wasnt infectious. Then I wheelchaired her away, which sped customs etc rather well, as they gave us priority by default. We might try that again sometime...
Glad to be home. Dont book the cheap flights that you pay for luggage separatly. It cost mre than our two seats, and blew the savings out the window....
