Dot
This was us on the 24 September last year at Bunda Cliffs Camps 7 #589.
We then left the bus (coach) in a parking bay near the Cook turn off and drove up to have a look, the weather was a lot different then.
Regards Geoff

That's a very innovative way to get the step closer to the ground Geoff, much better than the step that always seems to jump out the door just as you are leaving and remain at the campsite as you drive off up the road

Thought we might have been there for a while but with a bit of digging and branches under the rear wheels, a bit of forward and reversing managed to get out. Had to unhook the Terios and I guess we could have used it to tow us out.

Old telegraph office at Eucla WA002.jpg
Old telegraph office at Eucla WA003.jpg
As we were refuelling at Eucla we decided to unhitch the car and go see the old telegraph office. We met a couple that had been there 40yrs ago and he said that there wasn't too much more sand in today as last time he was there.. Also turns out this couple are related to friends of ours in Strath  .
Then we watched a plane land and take off after dropping a passenger off on the air strip below the roadhouse on the flat. Didn't realise you could drive right down to the Telegraph office but was better to leave the bus and the puddy tats under shade. Nice warm day and a slight head wind but better than those stinkers last week. Think its going to be warm/hot tomorrow :( if so might have to visit a cp and then I could also watch the race  ;)
