Margaret says the Surface Pro is the best computer she has ever owned or worked with.... and considering what she does for a living that is a big statement. She will be happy to tell all the fruit machine users that she actually started her career as a fruit machine tech, but when BHP changed over to PC's she saw what computing was really all about.... and now simply smiles at people who own fruit machines :)

I must say I find the surface pro very tempting..I use a samsung galaxy tablet with bluetooth keyboard as first choice these days, the laptop gets dragged out about once a month, if that

I went on Google to check it out, the first link was headed "Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 is brilliant, even though it drives you nuts"

I would have thought it more than Dot needs? :P

Just a short note for them that are looking for a replacement laptop or desk computer
I volunteer at Mandurah Muskateers Charity Computers ( MMCC ) we refurbish desk tops and laptops and then sell on ( should have Health Card or more ;))

I've replaced Phyl's clunky laptop with a HP i5 /4g Ram 500 H/D for less than $150
My Acer with a Toshiba i7 4/600g and for camping I have Dell TXT XFM ( military spec laptop that converts to a tablet type )

Sometimes we get a few i7's so if your looking for a low cost alternative PM me and I will see what we have at the time.

I use a Notepad and a Notebook. I keep going to the laptop. It's quick, big screen, familiar keyboard.
The one and only thing you need to be sure of ... make sure it has at least 16gb of RAM or more.
