Wayne, Do you have one of those thermal heat guns. If you have, you should be able to use that to find a hot joint between batteries and inverter.
Are sure sure it is the inverter? Does everything on 240v stop when the TV won't work? With all the wiring changes that you have just made a loose connection is a high probability. Just make sure that you turn the inverter off BEFORE you start checking all the connections.

Did you fit those link plates between the 2 terminals and the cables back onto the one terminal each side? If you didn't then you fried the wiring inside the inverter, just like the last one. As I told you before, thee are 2 terminals on the positive and 2 terminals on the negative for a reason, it is for load sharing, if you didn't put the links on and tighten them properly then Mr Wayne is to blame
