Yes Wayne,
It is all about the project, how well you can make things work, the budget, well that is another matter altogether.
I satisfy myself with the thought, it'll all be worth it when we are able to use it
Cheers, Alan

Re: A lot of activity happening
Looked at the wiring birdsnest and though "now where have I seen that before"
Had all the plans in the world regarding the rewire, tested and labelled all the wires..... the ink is no longer visible on the few bits of tap that are still there, I painted the ceiling over the top of my pencil drawn wiring diagram when painting the inside took preference to finishing the wiring and because I'd duplicated it in a book and photographed it all with my then wiz bang digital camera so thought I had it covered. Can't find the book, the photo pixelated so bad I couldn't make out anything when I blew it up, then promptly lost it all together when a "friend" offered to sort out my computer problems and promptly blew it away when he reformatted the hard drive along with all the other wiring schematics for that and the 2 other rewire jobs I was working on at the time, he never thought of making a copy first
One day I'll get the urge and probably rip it all out again and do it different using a canbus single wirng harness for the now front to rear engine conversion, makes circuits much easier to trace that way, and probably similar for house wiring with one remote for all the inside lights etc

Hi Terry,
Yes it is a bucket of worms. One of my friends said he thought I was doing macrame. Everywhere I looked there wer wires that had been cut and just left. I spent a bit of time tracing all these back to source on cutting them out, logic being they were connected to nothing so they were just excess baggage to haul up hills. I have kept an excel file with the colour, function, point of origin, and destination, every time I update it, I email it to myself and copies then reside on the computer, the iPad, the email server and an the smartphone.
I thought seriously about hauling it all out at several points along the way, but thankfully common sense won out as I got the bunches of wires cleaned up.
Cheers, Alan
