What a great day it was today, beautiful and warm, no flies either. The corned beef has been on the electric plate all day so it should be just so tender. Tomorrow it is off to the brake & clutch place to see what is what and how much.. To top it off the part we were waiting for the sat dish arrived BUT G thinks it is not what it needs so here we go again, less than 12 mths old and haven't been able to use it since we left home.... Then I got told off again by the Gman for attempting to strangle the loo again     They are packed into this park like over stuffed sardines, it is unreal. We are lucky that we have a drive through site and there are only 7 of them but I guess they have to cram as many in that they can..... I really hope that we can get moving in a day or two getting very expensive here :)

Booked in for 10am, got seen at 1030, 1/2 hr total of "work" done $121.00.... He could not see / feel any leaks, played with the gears, pumped the clutch a few times, then said I can't see, feel anything wrong apart from there could be a bit of adjustment to the clutch, so he did that and that was that. To me lines that carry fluids through them are like arteries in the body and I think they can clog up so am I wrong in thinking that maybe the fluid in the clutch system changed and the gearbox oil to be checked? Oh well what the hell? Now have to wait more as the mail has NOT been sent on until today instead of last week.  Oh more fun and games watching the newbie caravans arriving in entertainment plus, the guy next door had to move his vehicle because the van coming in opposite couldn't manage it   Time to head off to see some more expensive stuff.

My opinion only .....
Gearbox is OK... forget that.
Clutch itself is OK ....
Fluid operating the clutch is the problem ....
Does the line get close to the manifold or exhaust pipe at all?
Probably not being rear engine mount.
If you can continue/enjoy your trip until you get back home I suggest G get out the toolbox & remove the master cylinder & the slave cylinder & put kits through both of them. Flush the fluid line from front to back & reassemble it.
I wonder if you travel one gear down will it still do it? I bet it does. Is one gear down much slower? I presume it's an overdrive gearbox?

Agree Bruce, shall give you a yell when we get home ;) ;)
No the line isn't near the manifold or exhaust pipe.
5th gear was ok,,, and travels well
Our next door neighbour (the diesel Mechanic) said that the clutch fluid should be changed at service times roughly 40k
Have been to the Simpsons gap today WOW WOW WOW..
Got a real good story to tell you later on but right now it is a happy hr or two for me. The reason will be clear later on ;) Hint,,, I was nearly attacked by a fairy

OK here is the event I alluded to. I went for a boundary walk around the cp just around lunch time as I was going past a certain place (a permanent) I was yelled at by a man saying "this is private property" I replied "No it is not, inside your fence is private but on the road it is the cp land.. OK then it got nasty, he said "You are a F'n old C--- so F off" he then said he had a guard dog and if he said the word the dog would jump the fence and attack. I replied that " you would not want to do that " then it started again yelling to F off so I just stood and looked at him as he came outside of his place and puffed himself up but I stood there and just looked at him so he returned to his place. Then his male friend ;) came to the door and started to yell at me to F off their private property. I then asked him to meet me at the office to sort this out re the private bit so I headed to the office, he on the other hand did not turn up so I told the staff what had taken place and they rang the manager who was going to come to see me later on. I also said I wanted the police to know that he had threatened me with the dog attacking me and they agreed that was the right thing to do.. The manager came to see me and as I told her the story she smiled and said he had done the same thing to her until she told him she was the manager and she can go anywhere on the property in accordance with the residential thing as he is a permanent. She also said her husb was going to read the power meter and the idiot yelled he would set his dog on him?? A couple of hrs later we were asked to go to the office to meet the police, told them the story and they were going to see him and as I wasn't going to press charges they said they would scare the crap out of him with him saying he would set the dog on me. Found out that he had been given notice to move out in a week and the police have him on file which can also make the eviction easier for the manager.. So the manager then offered us a couple of free nights and could not stop apologising . Even our neighbour went and had words with this creep. So there you go another fun filled episode of the travel diary..:) :) :) :)
