I put our fridge in the centre, avoids the spillage problem and also heat transfer from the side of the bus.

When traveling, especially on rough roads, contents of a motorhome/bus etc always tend to move to the low side (left) and forwards.
The first few times you end up cleaning up the mess on the floor but you soon learn!!! :o :x

If you mount the fridge on the drivers side wall and you park on the side of the road for coffee/lunch, the whole rig is leaning to the left. As soon as the fridge door is unlatched things start to fall off the shelves and head for the stairwell making as much mess as possible on the way  The Mazda fridge is on the drivers side and the first round-about lets you know if the fridge door was secured with the Velcro strip or not, left overs don't fair too well on the trip across the floor and down the stairs. We do have those spring loaded bars with the rubber feet that hold things on the shelf but they have their limits
The big bus project has the fridge centre mounted facing forward so only sudden stops should be a problem...... well, once/if it ever gets on the road that is

Interesting little side track there about the fridge position. ;)

But, I noticed in NCs pic that hes kept at least one original bus seat.
I reckon that looks great.

Now to prevent draggin Alans thread OT, have you got a thread about your conversion NC ?
I could go and search I s'pose.....but.ya know, the glass need topping and the fire needs lightin, but yeah, link to a NC thread anyone ? :)
