Nice photos Helen.
The roses are not in my garden but would be nice instead of the weeds I have.
There is a lot to see in the district and surrounding shires.
When you go to Northam get to the top of the hill lookout for a great view of the town.
Have a picnic in the park on the Avon River. Get some WEIS BARS at Coles and enjoy the day.
Have you met the neighbours yet ?
Tanya will keep you busy and will take you to the Bowling Club, and Ross [house 40] will help you if you need anything.
Selwyn will join you for happy hour if you have a beer in the afternoon.
Wongan Hills is worth a day trip, as is Goomalling and Dowerin.
I'm sure some of the locals will invite you for xmas dinner which is not that far away.
I have finished what I am doing in Maryborough and I'm heading back to Dysart this morning with the 3 kangaroos (Eastern Greys with Joeys) and 2 magpies in the back of the mazda with Mr. Russell.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Oh Hell, bloody rain again over there, now wait for the onslaught of the weeds to grow.
Lucky I have the neighbours looking after the mowing and weed spraying for me.
Are my 2 cars still in the driveway of house 39 ? There should be a black one and a blue one parked there.
Did you get to go to the Bowling Club with Tanya for a dinner. (Tanya cooks at the Club on some nights).

Wylie is a quiet town --you have to wait for a wedding or funeral or election for a gathering in the pub. The local Club is the place to go for a night out and even then you have to pick your night. Try the barefoot bowls evening for a fun time and meet some of the locals. Did you get to go up to Koorda (45 km drive), nice little town and they have a drive-in cinema. Check out when Goomalling have lunches at the railway rooms --used to be $10 for a 3 course lunch by one of the local cwa or sports groups. Selwyn and I used to drive down for lunch and something to do. Goomalling is a very friendly town. The coffee shop next to the chemist have good coffee and cakes but a bit pricey.
