Paint3D...

Post by Chuck »

Just attempted to change my wallpaper pic & two problems have arisen.

1. Each time I now click on a pic from my selection it now comes up using 'PAINT3D' which must be a newish Microsoft application recently downloaded which I wasn't aware of. I don't seem to be able to bring a pic up on my screen now without this crap on it!!! Tried to delete the download & whilst it appear to work, next time I go back to check it has returned!!!

2. All of my choices for wallpaper pics have been there for years... starting 10 years ago when we commenced our travels. At the time they were placed in their file they were all suitably enlarged using Windows XP. Now, when I try to place one of them in situ they only appear as a normal downloaded pic, not the required size to fill the screen.

GGRRRRRRR!!!

Help.......

You must have been sleeping when this arrived, if you go back into downloads you might be able to remove this file
It is W10 your using ?

Correct Ron, W10, & I must have been dozing.

Had a quick look at your link, interesting enough but not on my to do list in the foreseeable future.

Also did check the downloads, found & deleted the Pic 3D item, but when I tried to change the pic in question the Paint 3D thingy popped up each & every time.

Just had another look in the downloads &, yes, it's still there so deleted again & will see what happens.

Downloads do nothing Chuck till they are installed.
To uninstall it you need to look in the list of installed programs.
Go to ... Control Panel / Programs and Features & scroll down the list.
