Re: Bernie and Carols "NEW" adventure
Bernie I drove our Coaster up to the top of Bingara lookout, luckily there were no other vehicles so I turned the Coaster around, wow what a scary steep decent I ended up in first gear & having to brake on & off, never again, although it was certainly a great view from the top.

Re: Bernie and Carols "NEW" adventure
Hi all , just for you Dave we are now at the lions Club camp in Premer NSW .
We left Bingara around 7am (NSW) Yesterday and had smoko (little lunch) at the free spot 15Ks before Gunnedah its called Red Bank .
Topped up the fuel tank in Gunnedah and arrived at Premer at 11.30 .
It was a great stay at Bingara and we spent around $200 dollars in the town (so much for a free camp) haha .
We have been watching the weather and decided time to move on .
Its $12 per night here at Premer and it has hot showers and toilets plus power, $7 for unpowered . Aircon was on yesterday it was 38Dgs when we arrived . We will stay for a few or more days it has a 7 day limit here .

Re: Bernie and Carols "NEW" adventure
Well disaster struck the aircon split system house one , Shiite itself dinnit .
With 38 + degrees every day we decided to move . Bobr and his lovely wife Robin (hope that's the correct spelling) googled some aircon people numbers for me ...but to no avail they were all to busy to see me . So we went on to Dubbo...same answers... all to busy (wonder if the word motor home had anything to do with the answers) at least one of Bobs contacts told me its more then likely just the capacitor that's Shiite itself ?? So we made a move to go to where the temp is still in the 20's...and here we are at Mirrool NSW .
temp here at 25 Carol loves it .
We have some friends we will be seeing down in Vic in a few more days from now and they know someone that can assist us (we hope) other wise I will (to keep the piece) buy a new one.....drat... I will be calling for donations!!!!!
All for now .
Don't you just love being on the road?

Sounds like you might have to start selling your grog supplies for a new air con

Re: Bernie and Carols "NEW" adventure
G'day all . We moved on from Mirrool and camped at Wattle Tree Beach just on the NSW's side of the Murray River , Vic and Cobram on the other side .
yesterday was washing day at the Laundromat in Cobram plus a bit of stickybeaking in the "opp" shops and also the main shops for resupplies to the bus . Some of you know Doug from the AMH forum he and Jackie were going to come visit yesterday but because of the high winds that were here Doug invited us to dinner at their place , We had a great time we hadn't seen them since 2015 so lots of "stuff " to talk about we had a most enjoyable time .
We are moving on to Bundalong today to visit with more motorhome friends they have visited us at our place......now its payback...hehehe.
yes Robert I do sleep but I'm a early riser normally around 4,30am.
I hit a dead roo with the bus narrow bridge no where to miss it...my towing shank is adjustable and is down a bit to make the toad more level, well it caught the roo and spatted body parts all over the front of the stone guard and the car the back of the bus copped a fair bit as well....bugga..
The joys of travel .

They make a mess.
Lucky if you get them tumbling and then they roll under.

Re: Bernie and Carols "NEW" adventure
Hi all , We are at mates place in Bundalong Vic , helping (sorta) with his bus build .
We have had a "not happy Jan" experience , My daughter rang to say there was mail for us with what feels like credit cards...So II asked her to open them , sure enough there where two new cards...Now before we left we made sure of all stuff that would come in even our debit cards which are to 2020 were sorted. No because the credit union has merged with another company they were issuing new cards , they also gave us till the end of this month to get cards and activate them as that's when the old cards will be deactivated . Bloody lot of time "A" . So daughter has sent them to Yarrawonga PO . I did ring the credit union and had a "discussion" with them to bad if we were overseas but all I got was "tuff titties"
When we can I will terminate our account with them...arsholes .
Hopefully the new cards will be here early next week........
Back to old mate's bus we removed the two windows that were not required and have stripped out vinyl and stuff .
The window were a bugga of a job ...good thing we were here .
Bernie .
Cuppla pic's of mates bus .
