Their hamburgers are so big neither of could get through one. As far as the mincing one up
you just be careful as you might get minced up but not sucked up. If you get my drift

Re: Dot George & Brian are off again
Bernie,
There are a few of us left...
While in Broome coupla years ago, found a Blackberry (the PDA, not the fruit!
).
After giving it a bit of a charge, discovered it was not password protected, so searched the emails. Found the owner's email address, & emailed to tell him that we'd found it. Said, as we were leaving the following day, we'd leave it with the Rozzers for him to collect. (He said thanks in reply.)
When we took it to the cop shop, the policewoman was amazed that we'd return such a thing! Asked' "Why are you leaving it with us?"
Told her we'd found it, and the owner would be by in a week or two to reclaim it. She looked at us as if we had rocks in our heads, but took it and logged it as lost property.
As The Bard wrote, "All's well that ends well."

Re: Dot George & Brian are off again
Yep Ray , I found a wallet at the unmaned fuel station at Julia Creek took it to the Police station spent about a Hour and half there , they new more about me then the owner of the wallet by the time I left there...
Then after all that plod said if no one claims the wallet do you want them to send what cash was in there to me .
Told the plod if I wanted it it would be in my pocket now and wouldn't have wasted all this time .
Old mates licence was in the wallet....how hard would that have been to let the owner know where his wallet was ???????????? derrrr.
Being a Sunday I was buggared if it was a working day I would have taken it to the bank....his bank card was in it .

I handed a wallet in at Coles that I found in a trolley, following week I asked re the wallet, after checking was told that there was no record of same, one wonders about the woman that received it.

Re: Dot George & Brian are off again
Well the best laid plans can go astray. We got to Gemtree as planned on the 20th and stopped until this morning. George needed to see a Dr before we headed further Nth so back we came to Alice S, got back into the showgrounds once more got settled in then headed to the A&E dept. Waited about half an he and then seen by a really nice Dr by the name of Rose
She was very thorough and assured G that what he has is not nasty but said to see Drs when we get home. So headed to the shops for a bit of retail therapy.
Our stay at Gemtree wasn't as good as last time, I think it was because
Kate and her husb are not there all the time. We were going to head off yesterday to catch up with Janelle and Jock aka Going bush but it was to be a long drive on good old dirt roads and a couple of hrs either way and directions were on a mud map and no ph coverage and I wasn't feeling too enthused so we gave it a miss. Been as cold as who knows what at night, thank goodness for electricity and the genny and not to mention the electric blanket and beanies.
What a sight to behold we are in the morning when it is light
Brian has been staring out the front window at another pussy taking a walk around on it's lead but it's a ranger and Brian doesn't fancy them. Fuel at Gemtree $2.00 pr lit and Alice Sp it's $1.67. Going to check in with the cops tomorrow just in case the ph was handed in
