Bruce, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I have lurked over there a few times, but never posted.
And guess what, I'm still standing. :D
Don't worry about that ill informed bunch of, I was going to say 'knob ends' but that's probably not very nice so I won't call them that.
I'll just think they are instead.

I have a list of forums I visit every morning. I must admit CF is still on my list. I scan the new topics and generally see nothing of interest. But, I live in hope. Every so often something shows up that I might have a look at. But I certainly don't bother with any lithium thread. Nothing to see there. Move on.

By the way Terry. You are now referred to as 'The man from Mannum' I wonder how they'll get around that one.

Don't worry ... I'll bet they're working on it.

I have a list of Forums I visit every morning , some I get good ideas from and some I get a good laugh from. ( I've come to the conclusion that as I get older I get a lot more cynical. )
The Forum in question has a few "Protected Species" that still espout steam engines ( and anything later ) as "Machines of the Devil" so you quickly learn not to disagree with anything they quote as Positive Data, or you'll get another suspension.

Yes I agree Ron but I do feel for the person looking for friendly real life experiences & advice on something of concern to them.
A couple of forums I'm still involved on I simply reply to the person via private message if I think I may help.
Trouble is that 'lurkers' will only get the info they read from ......... ????
