no electrickery on mine. Will keep the gas for the bbq anyway, but will probably go the electric jug, make cuppa to bring the batteries down or for doing dishes:D

Any water problems being up under there. If I can get mine into the area I am thinking, just in front of the drive wheels then it might get a splash or two even if I add a splash guard.

i wouldn't be too worried about fully sealing the GHWS. As you will see they are are a fairly solid unit and the door that must protrude through the skin is nowhere near water tight let alone air tight. I just had a shelf made up in a spot in front of the wheel arches and cut the hole through which the unit protrudes for the door. The shelf is built between the wheel arch and another bin and has a back on it to give protection from any larger rock or similar being thrown up but in my view being basically fairly free to air flow is better in case of a gas leak. Better to have the gas spill out and disperse then be held in a box waiting for a spark.

Won't fit in the wheel arch area where I thought/hoping it would go unfortunately, would have been ideal in this location, but hopefully now might be able to locate it in a separate compartment which is beside the diesel tank. Both are entirely separate compartments, but will have to talk to the gas installer so who knows..... Hopefully this one will be OK, otherwise its back in the forward bins at floor level. After hearing about other member locations I am not worried now about water entry etc.

Dirk, I think the main thing is to not place it under windows so the CO stays on the outside of the bus

No problem with it being under a window, its a good 2m plus away from a window or any other opening into the living area. The bus is a coach so at the bin floor level it's well away. Initially I wanted to keep it clear of water and road rubbish by fixing it just under the slide out but that's no good according to the importer, I am OK with that and understand their concerns, would have been good for that sort of information to be available prior to purchase in their advertisement. Although I don't think there is an alternative, (gas/elect) so its a location thing. Still haven't contacted the gas fitter to see if being close to the diesel tank is a worry, will leave him in peace until the new year..... then hit him with a heap of questions.

If you haven't bought the gas HWS yet why not consider a Diesel HWS.
