Not in my case, mind you he may not have seen them but they were mounted directly next to the connected bottles.

Thanks for those replies
The rig runs on straight gas so I don't have gerrycans and the onan generator has its own 40l tank built into the motor home with a filler at the rear like a car petrol tank.
I have the two 9kg gas bottles in the rear gas locker both connected via a changeover switch so I should be right

For fuel and gas, I recommend that you read the TT-Line documents:

I have 2 9kg fitted 'house' bottles which are OK and a 2kg attached to the Iveco tray for picnics.
They usually look very closely at the method of attachment for the little bottle before giving it the OK.
The fuel in the generator is OK but the 5L jerry-can get filled with water.
