Couple of good camp sites out that way are Boynedale bush Camp area on the Dam, and another, (I consider better) is Wallum Reserve, on the way out from Calliope.
Camps 6, 107 and 106
Boynedale bush camp (107, 24 13 02 S 151 15 00 E) maximum stay 7 days
Wallum Reserve, also known as Futters Ck (106 24 08 17 S 151 11 45 E) I prefer this camp clean, and some good sites shaded and un-shaded, good clean "windy Loo", from hearsay not policed for stay length as much as Boynedale and not as crowded.
Not much Redclaw around and only fish we saw were catties in the creek, though there were a lot of boats working out of both camp sites, and there were varying reports.
