Peter I saw one splitter that doesn't need external power but will only run one at a time.
Would you ever have need for two TV's to be on at the same time?

No the idea was just that, have the TV either in van or under awning. The now 2 I have work OK with one cable, as soon as the second cable is plugged in nothing works. Very frustrating .
